(lol) * That's good that Straight Talk is using their own money on this project, unlike some stores that raise money from * customers and then take all the credit themselves (ie: K-Mart did this recently with one of their projects).   * Wow, 100,000,000 is a lot of money, that is almost as much as what Sweeper & I make in a year! ... * I was at one of my many Walmart stores the other day, and I happened to see this display as I was walking in. * The Make-A-Wish Promotion Straight Talk is doing over these few weeks - I guess they are coming around here. * I had my Phone Hall of Fame Turkberry on me, the Net10 Samsung r355c -- so I took a picture of the display. * Ps: this may be my last picture I ever take with my Turkberry (r355c) - my days and minutes are almost used up. Hi Turk. You can keep taking pictures on the Turkberry even after the minutes are used up. Just BT them over to an active phone and send them from there... Or USB them to your PC and send them out from there or store them on your "mainframe." |

* annepani .... yes, I know all of that .... thanks though for the tips... * What I was trying to say in my last post was that... now that my Net10 Samsung r355c is almost finished up, * I will head back on over to Tracfone with my Motorola ex124g and start taking new pictures with that phone. * I am planning on selling my Samsung r355c (for a few bucks) to a local pawn shop that I deal with from time to time. * So when I said: "this may be my last picture with this phone" -- it probably is my last picture with this phone. (lol) Turk's iFone coming very, very, soon!

Straight Talk Wireless gives $1.1M to Make-A-Wish in Phoenix Phoenix Business Journal by Mike Sunnucks, Senior Reporter A national cell phone company has donated $1.1 million to the Phoenix-based Make-A-Wish Foundation. Straight Talk Wireless presented the big check to Make-Wish today in Phoenix. The donation comes from a Straight Talk promotion of Android smartphones at Walmart Stores. Straight Talk is a no-contract cell phone provider. The company is an arm of Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim’s América Móvil S.A.B. de C.V. Make-A-Wish is a national children’s charity that helps and grants wishes to kids with life-threatening medical conditions. Some of the group’s recent wishes include: • Getting a Yorkshire terrier puppy for a young girl with Leukemia • A Star Wars experience trip to Orlando, Fla., complete with visits from Storm Troopers and Jedi Knights for a boy with a serious blood disorder • Trips to Paris and the Caribbean and meetings with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, actress Selena Gomez and the New York Giants for sick children. |
