"Tressa!" Hannah saw her friend even before she was off her horse. She had quickly jumped from the horse, and tied him to the nearest hitching post. The girl so badly missed her home town, and her friend. She had just rode in, and had not even take a chance to stop and bathe. She had her best friend to meet, and she did not care to see the man there with her.

"Tressa Mae!" She said as she ran up closer. She grabbed her friend up into a tight hug. "Tressa, oh, how I have missed ya!" Holding her friend back at arms length she grinned. "You have grown some the past few years. You have lost the rest of your childness. A fine woman I now see before me. But that does not mean that you have lost your love of your best friend does it?" A playful pout came to Hannah's face as she looked at Tressa. She gave her a moment to breathe, knowing that she had just been attacked. Hannah could not hold back her giggles of excitement.

Tressa Mae
Tressa was about to open her mouth to reply to Jimmy, telling him he did not deserve to know her name, when she suddenly heard her name being called. And as she turned into the called greeting, she was attacked by a tight hug from none other than Hannah Carp herself. "Hannah!" Tressa laughed, hugging her friend back. "Grown? Hardly. Nothing seems to have changed!" As Hannah pouted, Tressa joined in the fun. After all, it had been years since she had seen her last. "I'm sorry Hannah, but I do think that I might have lost the love for you as my best friend. I'm sorry. I think I may just have to hug you again."

She gave her friend another big hug before stepping back and looking at Jimmy again. He was still just sitting on the bench. Tressa bit her lip as she looked quickly between the two and cleared her throat slightly. "Hannah," she started grudgingly, "this is Mr. Jimmy Dee. Mr. Dee, this is my best friend, Hannah Carp."

Jimmy Dee
Jimmy in confusion reached his hand out and saidPleasure to meet you . Jimmy turning to the lady and asked What is your name miss, So I can call you by it instead of Miss because where I come from it is proper to call ladies by their first name.

Hannah could not help but giggle as her friend played back at her. She gladly accepted the second hug. "If you are not growing, then I am shrinking." She teased some more. Their friendly banter was like she never left.

She then also looked to the man beside her friend. "It is a pleasure to meet you, again, Mr. Jimmy Dee." She smiled at him, but the smile faded as he spoke to Tressa. "Tressa Mae, you mean to tell me that you just introduced me to a man, ignoring the fact I already know him, that you had not even introduced yourself to! I am surprised at you, my friend."

She turned back to Jimmy. "I apologize for my friend, Mr. Dee. This is Tressa," she squeezed her friend by the shoulders. "Tressa Mae." She eyed her friends carefully, some thing was off between them.

Tressa Mae
Tressa kept her mouth shut as Jimmy once again asked for her name. If he was blind enough not to catch it the previous three times Hannah shouted it, then he had no need for it. But Hannah quickly remedied that little problem.

As she got over the initial annoyance that Hannah had brought her name to Jimmy's attention, she gave them both a look of confusion. "You two already know each other? How? When did this happen? Hannah?" This was too much. Too too much.

And as she was scolded by her friend, Tressa pouted. "Tis not my fault he hasn't done anything to deserve my introducing to. For heaven's sake Hannah, why would I introduce myself cheerfully to a man who held a gun on me? I only introduced you two, with no need I see, because I didn't want to be rude." A just explanation in her eyes.

But seeing as the damage was already done, Tressa turned to face Jimmy. "There you are, my name. Tressa." She was being childish but really didn't care for the moment. She would cringe at her behavior later.

(Hannah... Déjà vu...)

Tressa clasped her hands in front of her carefully and smiled. "How about the feeling of unease and nausea as my eyes passed over you?"

"Yes, we have met in our travels, but we can talk about that later." Hannah meeting Jimmy before was not a big deal. They both traveled a lot, so what does it matter? Any way, what Tressa said next was what caused this girl who had just gotten back to town to frown. "You did not want to be rude, so you introduced me, but you would not introduce yourself? My dear girl, have you lost it out here in the heat? You do not be nice in another way to cover up being rude in another. I know your father taught you better than that." Her tone was playful, but she still meant every word.

Then she realized some thing. "Wait, wait, wait!" As the words sank in, Hannah turned to Jimmy. "You held a gun to my friend? Jimmy Dee what is wrong with you? Do not think that you can go causin' trouble any way you want here in Tugme Flatts." She had her hands on her hips, but she knw that Jimmy would not intentially harm Tressa, scare her only, maybe.

She then listened to the next words that transpired between her two friends. "Alright, we are not going to argue, and we are not going to worry about why's. Right now, I want to hear the news of the town. I have been gone for too long, I need to catch up. We can all go to my place, where I intend on making sticky buns here soon." She wanted them out of the hostile situation she could see in Tressa's eyes.

Jimmy Dee
Jimmy thought to himself. Then he said I was only meaning to scare her not harm her, at least I didn't pull the trigger which I could have you know. Jimmy also said That is a great idea we all go to Hannah's Place and have sticky buns and discuss this all.
