Tressa once again found herself strolling the streets of town. Any day now Hannah should be back. But that didn't stop her from still hoping that when she went into town she would see her friends face. After all, it was too long since Hannah had been home. Tressa frowned as she thought about the past few years. Everyone seemed to be leaving and no one seemed to be coming into Tugme Flatts. The town was going to go poor if this continued. Reaching the end of the last building on the street, Tressa looked into the distance. Just as she thought. No coach. No horse. Sighing, she turned back around and started back across town. |

| Jimmy was riding into town from his ranch on the outskirts of Tugme Flatts. Jimmy was at the edge of town and he thought there was no one around so he just basically gets to the center of town.Jimmy looks and looks until looks really closely and sees someone just didn't know who they were so he didn't even try and yelling at them to make small talk. |

Tressa looked up as she got further into town. As she did so, she spied a rider near the center of town. That wasn't unusual by any means. There were many people out in the streets right this minute. But what set this rider apart was that he was looking back at her. She couldn't recognize him at this distance. For all she knew, she didn't even know him. He could be just observing the town. But upon getting closer, she did recognize him. It was the man from the incident in the Cactus Forest. Feeling her cheeks burning a bit, Tressa aimed to make it past him. But as she got closer, she couldn't help but look at him. A mistake on her part. He took her breath away. And that frustrated her. She set her jaw. "You're still in town I see." |

Yeah I can't really leave town when I have a ranch on the outskirts of town, My name is Dee, Jimmy Dee what's yours? he asked the lady. Jimmy recongized her from the incident in the forest but he never got a name. By the way about that incident in the Cactus Forest I was just strolling through when I saw you in that bind Sorry if I scared you.

Relaxing a little, Tressa permitted herself to give Jimmy a small smile. "You shouldn't let that ranch of yours tie you down if you'd like to leave." Goodness knows it hasn't stopped anyone else, she thought sourly. There were dozens of ranches that had been abandoned when the owners heard of better business outside of town. At the asking of her name, Tressa again smiled but this time it was a bit more gentle. "I'm afraid sir, that my name should be no concern of yours. I am sorry if I gave you the impression that I wanted to be friends." She paused to think a moment. That wasn't going to do anything. "If anything, your presence in the forest that day showed me that you would not like to be friends. For if you care to remember, you held a gun to my back." Quickly feeling the anger of that moment returning, she took a few steps in a different direction. Any direction away from Jimmy. |

Jimmy said The ranch I have I can't abandon and plus this place is perfect. Jimmy saidLet me explain myself for one moment miss maybe we can start over but if you don't thats fine too. Jimmy turns and walks away for the lady. He walks until he finds a bench to sit on then he sits down and just sits there. He looks like he is seemingly waiting to meet someone there or just sitting.

| Tressa paused in her retreat as Jimmy spoke. But when she turned around she watched in confusion as he was walking away himself. Indecision filled her. But in the end, curiosity beat out instincts. Walking over to where Jimmy was now seated on the bench, Tressa sat beside him and looked straight forward. "Alright," she said. "I suppose maybe we can have another start. But you fist must explain yourself. And I warn you, I am not one that will accept any tale." She snuck a look at him out of the corner of her eye. |

Jimmy looks at her and saysThe reason I pulled gun up to your back was because I saw thats you had a pistol and if you pulled out that gun and turned and shot one of us guys we would have been dead meat so thats why I pulled the gun up to your back was so I was prepared if you did that. Jimmy looked at her and said I also didn't know how fast you could pull the trigger. Jimmy also said But like I said if I startled you and shocked you, I am truly and very sorry I was just doing that out of my own protection more than wanting to startle you. Jimmy now just sat there waiting for an anwser hoping that the would clear him of his mistake before.

That was the most ridiculous thing that she had heard all month. Tressa took one of the hands that had been placed in her lap and covered her mouth with it to stop the laughter before it came out. He was afraid that she would have shot him? Either he was really insecure or thought she was really that dangerous. Tressa now lowered her hand and turned to face Jimmy but turned as she saw that he too was facing her. "I think," she started, "that you would have been better off just keeping away. I am but a member of this town. I suppose if my life depended on it, I could have used that gun. Otherwise, no one would have been shot by me." She rung her hands together in her lap, attempting to hide the fact that they were now getting clammy. "Mr. Dee, I'm sure that you may have had no intentions of startling me, but you did none the less. It's not polite, no matter the circumstances, to come up behind a woman and hold a loaded gun to her. Unless you mean to do her harm. And for all I know, that is what you intended. How do I know that you hadn't been planning to shoot me yourself?" Tressa now turned and looked Jimmy in the eye. She hated throwing that out there but she had too. She hadn't done anything to him and other than pulling her own pistol out, hadn't made any threats. He could have been just as easily an outlaw himself. |

Jimmy said Well ma'am where I came from you would have been shot on the drop of a dime, So, I was unsure of what to expect and what to do. Jimmy looked at her and then looked away. Jimmy now was unsure of her reaction or her response so he just stared at the ground with a a blank stare waiting for her reaction. And by the way I never got a name from you miss.Jimmy stated.
