Tressa reined in her horse as she approached the Cactus Forest. She always regretted going into it, often ripping her gear and clothing, but it was a challenge to get through and that's what she enjoyed about it. The challenge. She smiled to herself as she reached down to grab her water. After she had her drink, Tressa started back at a walk into the cactus. Before she had even gone six yards, she noticed a young man walking out. Boy, she corrected herself. Once again halting, Tressa smiled. "Are you lost?" she asked. "You're an awful good distance from town." |

Jimmy was following Tressa Mae out of town because she was someone different to an out of town house rancher outlaw. Tressa Mae was stopping and getting water so Jimmy was back a way out of sight of Tressa so she didn't get freaked out by having someone follow or stalk her. Jimmy noticed that a teenage out of town boy was approaching her and they started talking. Jimmy was trying his best to stay out of sight and quieter than anything that was out there.

| Joshua B. Hunter was surprised to see someone out and hesitated for a minute then replied quickly, "No I'm sight seeing because I'm new in town and I need to get familiar with the area if I'm to start hunting. By the way do you have a gun on you it's dangerous to be unarmed with all the outlaws running around. (I so need a gun...)" |

Tressa smiled and laughed lightly at the boy's response. "I have no need for a gun out here but I thank you for your concern just as well. You see, I've been here my whole life and roaming around is what you can call a hobby of mine. There's no danger out here for me." She dismounted from her mare and held the reins in one hand as she walked forward. "As for outlaws, if it's The Kid you're referring to, I don't worry. That no-good villain is halfway across the continent." She came to a stop a short distance from the boy and looked him over quickly. He seemed harmless enough and not too much younger than herself. She was slightly concerned by the fact that he seemed to be alone though. But that was common for young boys. She held her hand out to the boy. "I'm Tressa, by the way. Tressa Mae ." |

| Jimmy was just sitting watching how Tressa was interacting with the boy. Jimmy just sat there watching intently trying to catch every word that was being said but onl caught some of it, he caught Tressa introducing herself to the boy. Jimmy was wondering where the kid came from because he knew where Tressa is from. Jimmy didn't like the looks of the boy and was a little leary of Tressa talking to him. So,Jimmy just kept quiet and hidden and waited for something to go wrong or disasterly. Jimmy just continued to watch. |

| Joshua B. Hunter grinned. "What if I'm an outlaw?" he asked, putting his hand into the likening of a gun. "You could be in danger right this moment and not even know it." |

Tressa halted and back back up. This had suddenly gone way south. The boy could be joking... Or he could be serious. And she had just given him her name. This was not the best of situations. Quickly reaching into her saddlebags, Tressa pulled out the small pistol she kept in there. Hey, she didn't tell him she didn't have a gun and if he was going to make threats, then she was going to defend herself. "Sir, I would hope that you are not making threats because I could be an outlaw and your life could be in danger this very minute." She leveled the gun out and smiled sweetly. "I would suggest that you don't trifle with me." She was being unfair in this situation and she knew it but he had started it. All the same, she hated making the empty threats. |

| Jimmy was now on his feet next to his horse getting his rifle.Jimmy was on guard because he didn't want to see her get hurt so he stayed out of view still but he was ready to do what every man should do. Jimmy he was ready to defend her but she still didn't know he was there but he was just hidden away loading his rifle ready to shoot him. Tressa looked like she could handle her own but with that little gun she had, she was going to need someone to back her up. Jimmy was there still on guard ready to defend her at any call. |

The Kid had not even made it to town yet, and was already looking for that perfect secret hide out place. The Cactus forest was the best place to start looking, as not many people were there... Oh wait, was that the sound of voices? The Kid dismounted Chip, and grabbed a gun, listening. With Chip following close behind, The Kid followed to where there were two people having a talk. There was a gun involved, so The Kid quickly reached for a second pistol. Stepping out into the open, where they both could see the outlaw, The Kid did not raise the guns at either of them, but patted them both in their holsters. "What is this about outlaws?" A grin was hidden behind the dirt smeared handkerchief that that covered the face from the nose down. "Any way I can help with that, I know a thing or two about outlaws." The Kid sent the girl a wink from under the black hat, glad that no one could see the perfectly amused smile. The reactions would be priceless... |
