Depuis Longtemps is a typical small town in Louisiana situated south west of Houma, in Terrebonne Parish, , and is covered with elegant moss-draped oaks, and dotted with Southern homes. Population, est. 4,000. Surrounded by waters, forests, swamps and of course, the supernatural. The food here is spicier, many of the accents French, and the music jumpin'. The coffee colored mashes and swamps with bald cypress shooting out of brackish water are a natural part of life. Alligators? Maybe. The whole region is teeming with wildlife. The summers are long, and hot, while the winters are short and humid. At the end of each day, leave yourself some time for nightlife. There's usually music playing somewhere. Enjoy the Cajuns, who are genuinely warm folks. Their hospitality will make your stay one of the highlights of your journey in the South. While here, learn to dance, sing and eat Cajun style - you'll never forget it! ![]() Note: Depuis Longtemps is a fictional town, so feel free to help expand it! |
