The cloud queen had been sleeping uneasy in her weyr, as the storm had raged outside for the majorety of the last two days.
Suddenly she woke, brought out of her sleep not by noise but lack of it.
The island was in the eye of the storm, the usually shortlive event when everything was calm.

The cloud gets up and stretches, feeling feed up with being confined inside by the weather.
She walks out onto her ledge, her multifaceted eyes glittering with red streaks of bloodlust and lust.
Suddenly she takes into flight, letting out a huge buldge as she climbs upwards in the air.
Niennath scanns the ground, but knew that the herdbeasts had been brought down into deep caverns to be keept safe -there were nothing around for her to eat, nothing she could blood or gourge herself with.
Another enraged buldge is emitted, as the dragon wings towards the skies.

"She has to be caught! Who knows how long or short the calm will be!" His riders worried voice calling out into his mind, Neoth gets off his ledge.
The half-moon had no real wish to break up his rider from his current weyrmate Theta, but he could not allow Niennath to risk herself!
With a buldge he sets after her.

Jikarth and Daerth both joins the flight as well, roused by the alarm the other dragons was feeling. The twin sky-blues sings out in woeing tones after the queen, not really caring for the danger as they circle upwards following her.

Ulath could feels his bondeds hesitation, but in the end the navy also takes off, trying to catch up with the by now rather large fair of males hunting the cloud.

Surprisingly, mostly smaller males had gone after Niennath, as Valinith, Intricath, Trustith, Gareth and Neyth as well had joined the flight. Of those males who normally would be the only ones with a chance to catch the female only Manweth was yet seen, aside from Ulath.

((Having not feed, as well as the winds will be back in about an hour, this flight will be short, botched and hence free for all. The npc's are free for anyone to play, and possibly kill when the storm returns.))

Arrowth stood on his ledge horrified by his rider's thoughts and the Queens daring. She must sense the storm was only a few candlemarks away but still she took off in flight. Arrowth did not know what to do. He was a red after all but seeing a blue take off in pursuit inheartened him. He bulged out fiercly accepting her challenge. That's right he was a red! A red! Well worthy of catching Niennath! Considering his rider and hers meeting and the fact that R'huk was immensly fond of her fonder of her than any other woman he had ever had. But that alone would not catch the Queen for him. He took of from his ledge and quickly. *What are you doing?* *I'm chasing after Niennath.* *Have you lost your mind!? She's a Queen!* *And I'm a red.* *You cannot catch a Queen.* *Do you doubt your own dragon?* Arrowth asked angrily. R'huk hesitated, *No I do not.* He was everything a red was supposed to be fast, aggressive and agile. With quick movements he darted her and there using his speed to catch up with the Queen and his agility to dart threw his competitors whenever one neared him to much. He hissed agressively. His eyes were swirling focused on the beautiful Niennath. Normally he would save his energy for later but he knew time was short and speed was key more than stamina. He crooned at Niennath in a loving yet in a concerned way. Concerned not for his own safety but for hers. They could not lose their Queen.

Niennath rumbles teasingly a the males and arche her body, going into a dive down low over the weyrbowl before speeding out from the Weyr.

Most of the younger dragons follows her into the dive, but some does not.
Neoth can be spotted circling upwards, the half-moon only keeping one eye on the female or so it seems.
Jikarth and Daerth, the twin dragons, had for once decided to cooperate. The two was speeding up either side of the weyrbowl, also heading for altitude.
Manweth could be heard making treathening rumbles at the smaller males, as if he was offended over them trying to catch the queen. Even as Niennath herself did not seem to mind..

Wena182
Arrowth stayed upwards as well he might follow some of her moves a little later but for now he wanted to stay higher up. He was experienced enough in flights to know how to fly them well. When Manweth rumbled at him threateningly Arrowth rumbled back at him in a challenging manner. His whole body tensed up and he puffed himself out making himself look larger than he really was daring Manweth to question his right to fly for Niennath's safety. Still keeping a watchful eye on Manweth he did a couple simple moves like barrel rolls and other things to try and catch the Queen's eye. But then seeing her speed away from the Weyr he rumbled worriedly it was not wise to go far from the weyr. But nevertheless disregarding his own safety he tightened up as much as he could so as to have less of him to create drag and sped up trying to keep his altitude and stay directly above her.

((Ignore this if this isn't okay. If he wins, I'll transfer him. I just thought it would be nice to have another dragon chasing besides Arrowth and the NPCs.))

N'dra and his brown Kinuth had been visiting a relative in the Weyr when the storm began. They had been caught and forced to stay overnight, despite the fact that the Brownrider was eager to get back to his own Weyr. N'dra was sulking in a corner of the dining hall when he heard the bugles of a rising female, echoed by the male. He felt his own dragon's exitement and stood, looking out the window at what he could see of the Rising. The dragons were just colorful blurs in the misty sky. He saw the Queen dive almost at the same moment his dragon lost his inhibitions.

I CHASE! Kinuth informed his rider loudly, and N'dra barely had time to react before the brown had launched himself after the Queen. Kinuth was a small brown, usually referred to as "runty," but that meant he was fast. The Queen must be protected. N'dra groaned to himself, trying to keep a level head despite the strong emotions of the dragon.

((Ah, you are alive, that is nice to see :P I have not entirely decided how to end this flight yet. Whether to just make a random draw (as I usually do) or if only to choose between the active chars (which up to now meant Arrowth). So impress her with your prowless :P
Also, Niennath won't give in, so this will truly be a to-catch flight.
I will decide if she evades or not ofc.))

Biadora
((Ok, need to get this going, even as I am not entierly back yet. So is anyone interested in becoming Indras upcoming weyrmate??))

Niennath zigzaged and circled, but the winds from the storm around them combined with the many males on her tail had so far forced her to consentrate on avoid getting caught, and not on gaining enough altitude.
The smaller males proved to be more speedy then her in these close quarters, and the queen has to make a sudden roll and turn to avoid one of the smaller males again.
With a growl she slashes out with her tail, sending Valinith a hit over the wing for trying to catch her.
As soon as she feelt him leave, she begins to pump her wings and climb upwards again, trying to get higher..
Valinith creels out, more in surprise then pain over being hit. The blue stumbles, and looses his balance in the air.
He dives, without looking, and crashes into Manweth. The teal snaps up his head in instinct, twining his neck with the blues a full swing before he realises his mistake.
The two growls and snaps at one another, but with the blue tangled straddled halfway ontop of himself, the teal has no choise but to head back to his ledge to have their riders help them get loose again.

Spotting by the edge of her eyes two of her chasers give in, Niennath lets out a sing-songy teasing buldge. ~Even like this you won't be able to catch me!~
As Trustith makes a dive at her, trying to catch hold and twine with her tail, the cloud swings around with a growl and snort. She kicks him in the stomac with her hind legs, using him to get speed and leverage to move in a different direction.
With a pained creel the shifting plummets towards the ground as he gets the air kicked out of him.
In the last moment above the ground he opens his wings and slows own, before he half crashes down into the weyrbowl. Another whimper of pain would reveal that the dragon sprained his left leg ankle by the rough landing, but otherwise he escapes with only scratches.

Ulath and Neoth both gets a bit intimidated by how the female reacted to the pressure. Knowing that all of the males was trying hard to catch her, the two still pulls away a tad from her, to give her some room.

Daerth and Jikarth had no intention on lessening their attention, and working in tandem, the two silver-blues dives at Niennath from opposite direction, passing by her closely but not attempting to capture her.

Niennath buldges treatheningly at the twin dragons, speeding up. She had almost reached high up enough to twin succesfully now, but the thoughts of twining was far away from the dragons mind this early into her flight.

Intricath speeds past Gareth and Neyth. The star was already tiering, not so much from flying as from the hectics of keeping track of where everyone else was and avoid crashing into them. The star was tiring already, and heads towards the queen with the intention of giving her his single one shot at catching her...

Wena182
Arrowth still followed from above he knew that she would eventually if the winds and the males gave her the chance would have to get higher she could not twine at the level she was at. So he followed her patiently from above slowing from his earlier speed not that he was tiring. With adrenaline and testosterone pumping through his veins he did not feel tiredness or pain even though if he had not been in this state he would have. He watched as to males feel from the sky and had to retreat. Silly! Foolish! But just as he was thinking this and rethinking his strategy a large gust of wind caught him unexpectedly from the side and before he could ride himself another gust of wind caught him from a different angle. He plummeted and a collison with Neoth almost seemed inevitable. But at the last possible moment he regained control of his wings and with amazing speed and precision veered away from Neoth which would have been a disastrous collison. He pulled upwards and bulged triumphantly, *See not the winds nor other dragons can stop me. I shall fly till I fall out of the sky, Niennath.* He watched as Niennath rose almost to his height although she was still out of his reach. He was sorely tempted to dive down and attempt to force her to twine with him. But he had seen the thwarted attempts of the other males and the idea of doing that to her despite his nautral aggressive flying he did not want to detract from her natural beauty and her power nor her fighting will to stay uncaught. So instead he spiraled downwards gently until he was level with her but off to the right a bit. Close enough so that she would notice him but not so close as to pose any threat. He bulged at her in a pleading voice a voice that pleaded for her to let herself be caught before the eye passed over and they were all dead. And pleading for her to see him. He then crooned lovingly at her. But knew that this swaying was probably not enough to sway her. Now was the time for some theatrics. Suddenly and without and warning he veered quickly towards the left, towards Niennath, but where many probably though he was going to try and twine with her he dropped a few spans and passed just directly beneath her. He secretly hoped that she felt the wind caused by his passing on her soft underbelly. Then after being in the same position as before only on her left side this time he did the same thing, veering to the right, towards Niennath but this time he raised a few spans and passed directly above her but made no attempt to try and catch her. He was only trying to impress her now and was showing that he actually had a lot of conrol over his raw desires. He then proceeded to do a few more common tricks even though all these theatrics were dangerous in the sometimes unprediactable wind but he disregarded his own safety. He dove and spiraled, rose at near impossible angles, did barrel rolls and any other tricks of the air for awhile until he stopped. And fell back a little behind her still crooning but now just chasing normally. Weariness was setting in but he ignored it he could push himself as far as he needed to go. This meant a lot to him and to his rider. R'huk and Arrowth were both yearning for this pair.

((R'huk fancies Indra. (= ))

The winds was starting to come back and all of a sudden does Indras firelizard pop out from Between and up around Niennaths head.
Purple Lepra, Azure Jessy, Star(m) Aklal, Bronze Know, Blue Atlantic and young Mirval Draug would normally be better behaved then this, but Indra was starting to panic over the status of things.
Fear of loosing her dragon, fear of accidently others being killed due to her queens way to pick the least suiteble time to rise..
The firelizards chirrups in fear, they multifacetted eyes glittering in freaked out reds and yellows.
Swirling around in the air, not so bothered with their own saftey, they circles the queens head in narrow circles, doing their best to further distract her.
Niennath creels out in annoyance and snaps after ine of them. Although, even in her angered and aroused state the snap had been a treathening move, her massive yaws shutting well away from any of the little ones.
It only causes them to fly off for a brief time, and soon they swarm about her again under shrill shrieks..

Combined to the reds daring manuvers to pass her by so closely, it sends the cloud into a deeply stressed out mindset.
Growling, but with a confused note to her tone, she tries to avoid them all, males, Arrowth, firelizards, and the singing pair of skye-blues by diving. She dives a hard left, then almost crashes into Gareth, with Intricath narrowly overshooting her in the process.
Again Niennath swirls her body around it's axis in a try to escap, her hind legs instinctly shooting out and kicking her off and away by using the khaki as leverage..

While Intricath continues on, veering narrowly as to not run into Daerth and then reluctantly heading back downwards to fall out of the flight after his missed oneshoot, Gareth on the other hand did not get away that easily.
In the exact wrong time, th young male streched his neck towards Niennath.
As she kicks off, one of her hindclaws hits the males head, dazing him lightly, but what is worse, tearing up a deep gash over one of his eyes..

Biadora
The next event was mostly witnessed by Ulath and Neoth, who both still was circling upwards above the others.
Niennath, still with the firelizards buzzing around her head as if they where small angry bees, was busy with forcing her wings to take her upwards, once again upwards.

Behind her, Gareth had thrown back his head and roared in pain.
Throwing himself backwards like that, the male stalls.
He goes back, back, back, as a horse who rears. And then he almost reached the point were he would fall over.
But unfortunatly only almost.
He begins to turn and fall, and with his neck and head now slong forwards, his forclaws clasping around his head and apparently the usage of his wings forotten in the mutual bond of pain surging between him and his rider, he falls towards the ground.. to crash towards the weyrbowl if noone did something.

Jikarth and Daerth creels out in alarm. But the twin dragons was too caught up in their lust to be able to tear themselves away from the lusious queen. A lust povered both by their riders emotions as well as their faint twin bond..

Neyth as well has only eyes for the female, and he suddenly decides to 'cheat'. He blinks Between, reappearing high up above her. He circles once, and finds out that the air was dangerously chilled up here.
Ignoring the ice forming over his wings, and the way the cold draw his bodyheat out of him, he dives down towards Niennath as a falcon would do, determined to catch her.

It is Neoth who reacts first.
With a creel he forces himself to fold his wings and dive after the khaki..

And from below two more dragons takes off from their weyrs to aid in the rescue.
Sky Ariath and Terieth, with Milly on her back, takes into flight.

Neoth grabs hold of one of Gareths wings, yet is only able to slow his downward path. It disturbs both their course, and a sudden strong gust of wind flies in and begins to drift them sideways, as well as them going downwards.
By time Ariath reaches the two, coming up inunder him and helping to slow his descent, by then the trio had already drifted over the weyrrim.
The three was still going downwards in a high speed, a higher then usual speed, and the landing would not doubt be rough.

Millymight be seen struggeling with holding onto a slingbag, trying to keep it from getting pulled away from over her chest in the wind, as she and Terieth hurries after the disappearing group, hurrying to bring them the numbweed they surely would need to kill their pains. To give them a chance to get back to the saftey of their weyrs before the rest of the storm hit..

But the storm was really coming back now, and the winds were picking up more and more for each passing minute..

Arrowth watched as the flits began to try and distract the cloud. He was torn between his feelings of trying to sidle in and catch her right now against her will or keep playing at being a gentlemen. He saw that she was stressed by the ongoings of the flight but that there was also a confused note in her tone. Perhaps that might be something in his favor but when she sudden;ly dove. Arrowth watched in horror as she almost collided with Gareth. He saw the khaki fall as Niennath tries to rise upwards. *Help him!* Arrowth cried. But he himself could not be torn from his lust to chase the falling khaki there were plenty of dragons around the weyrbowl not participating in this wild wild flight they could help him. A flight was no time for dying. He watched as she began trying to gain altitude the flitts still pestering her. Arrowth began gaining altitude to so he would be at the right height to catch her. Then he waited she needed to be higher before he moved in. He faintly noticed the disaster that was about to take place on the impact of Gareth and also noticed that neyth cheated and went to dive. He didn't care that Neyth had cheated he was beginning to feel desperate himself. His wings were burning now and what was worse the winds were picking up. He felt the winds ripping at him on every side and it was now a battle to stay airborne. He began to sing, something he didn't often do, he sung in gentle and soothing tones trying to sooth the frazzled Queen. And then a slightly encouraging note entered his voice encouraging her trying to guide her to make her choice and twine.

Medinath stirred on her weyr ledge when she heard Arrowth's cry to help him but then she saw that others had already gone to his aid. And they were full trained riders not an inexperienced weyrling they would handle the situation more skillfully then she probably could so she stayed. But she was tense and ready and would take to the sky to help one if they so needed it. Even though it was getting dangerous Medinath was confident. Although she watched Neyth fearfully. The air was getting cold just where she was and he was very high. It was a daring move and would no doubt end badly.

Biadora
((mumbles something about post nb6))

Arrowths soothing worked so far that the female begun to calm down again, or perhaps one should say get worked up again, as she got back into deep dragonlust.
She lets out a low rumble. A teasing, sensual one that was meant to drive the males still left in the flight just crazy with lust.
The fact that the firelizards sudenly departed alerted her of danger, and she lifts her head upwards, spotting Neyth as the skye dowe at her as a semi-invisible dart through the growing storm.
But instead of evading him, she just chuckles.
As the male dowe close, apparently hoping to scare her into a dive of her own and catch her, Niennath just flew faster upwards.
Just before impact she straightens her whole body out, as straight as she could.
In a very daring moe, she angles herself, so the skye male just passes her by, so close that he brushes up against her.
But they both knew that they were travelling at too high speed to tangle, and as to emphazis this Niennath uses her tail as a whip, slapping the male over his nose just as he comes up parallell to her (ie the two being nose against tail and tail against nose under those split seconds they meet).
The male creels out in desperate surprise and lust, and tries to turn and catch her.
But once again Niennath uses one of the males as springboard, letting her hindlegs kick into him to further her own speed.
Neyth escapes this only with some bruising and with his air kicked out of him, but it also brings down his speed, and he suddenly finds himself behind the flittering about fair.

Niennath shoots upwards, veers away and for a while she manages to escape the firelizards. Hoping to keep outflying them she continues her circling path, rougly following the weyrrim, albeit being much heigher up.

Down below, Neoth had under orders of Milly and Terieth left the injured one and can be spotted returning to his weyrledge.

Wena182
Arrowth was pleased by her reaction to his singing so he kept on singing. And with her response he felt himself deepen in his lust. He could not wait any longer partially because he was so aroused and partially because it was getting to dangerous. He watched with something that could only be called interest in the sky's move, he didn't feel like the sky was comptetion and he didn't worry about him. He watched as he was skillfully evaded by the tricky Niennath. But he noted and was more concerned with the fact that she was continuing upwards. Closer and closer to his hovering position that he had taken above her. He also noted that she had escaped the flits for the time being as she began to circle he saw his opprotunity. She wasn't doing any daring moves or quick turns now just circling. Abruptly he stopped singing wishing to move in quietly though but he also knew that him stopping singing might cause for her to look around at him. And without a second hesitation he dove as he had seen the countless other males do. He stretched out his neck in preparation with twining with her.

Biadora
As Arrowth dove towards Niennath, Daerth and Jikarth begun to close in towards the queen from either side.
The firelizards came up at her again, chirruping with their high pitched voices to distract he.
Spotting that there now was only one way left for the queen to veer off into, Ulath dives below her.

Niennath was now surrounded on all four sides..

Biadora
Niennath suddenly found herself in an outmost difficult position.
At first she tried to veer left, to get away from the firelizards. But then she spots Jikarth, just as her path begins to drift.
So she halfrears back and with a very exhausting wingbeat she straightens her path, heads upwards.
Only to spot Arrowth.
Then she tries to double back on herself, folding downwards but just before she dives the flitters are in her face again, and then she has to veer away from Daerth who had closed in from the other side.
Ulath croons up at her from below, yet Niennath only hisses back at the males, not being ready to be caught yet.
The winds were picking up, and back inside Indras weyr Ga'el calls out "Now! Now or never!"
Jikarth and Daerth dives at Niennath, coming one from each side.
With a bulging exclaim Niennath growls at the two, bucking upwards to get out of their path.
The twin silver-blues ends up crashing into one another, and before they knew it they had twined with one another and was dropping towards the ground.

Back in the weyr Ga'el lets out a yell of frustration and slams his fist into the wall.
Ka'el eyes him, shaking his head to try and rid himself of the lust. As he felt how their two dragons begun to untangle, getting carefully away from one another with the intents to return to their weyrs, Ka'el can't help himself but begins to chuckle amused.

Wena182
Arrowth watched as the other males set the trap. The poor Queen but such thoughts were no use now if they did not return they would all surely be killed. Arrowth never slowed in his dive as he saw the twin silver-blues duck inwards towars the Queen. He listened as she growled but noticed with growing excitment that to avoid them she had veered upwards towards him. He was gaining speed and reached out and seized her with his forearms. He used most of his strength hoping that the Queen would not throw him off before he could twine...

Biadora
With a buldge that could only be described as surprised Niennath instinctly snapped her neck backwards as she feelt something, someone grab hold of her from above.
Hissing she glares at the firelizards, accusing them in her anger. She could already feel her neck being fixated by the male, yet her tail keeps fanning back and forth in annoyance even as she otherwise makes no move to avoid getting further caught.

The firelizards suddenly Betweens, apparently finally finding the queens anger more treathening then her bondeds worrys.

Beneath them Ulath looks up, rumbling in a grumpy manner then sidling out of th way. The male circles up and above them once, waiting to see if the female would get loose and away from the other.
After a minute he finds that so is not the matter, as Niennath instead slowly gives in to her lust, letting the red complete his twining with her.
With a sigh the navy glides back to his weyrledge and heads inside..

Wena182
Arrowth notes that she does not try to fight him off nor does she complete the twining. He waited patiently thrumming with his full voice so it vibrated against her. Then finally she began to give into her lust. And more excited and extatic then he had ever been in his life Niennath completed the twining. He sweeped her under him taking the greatest care to steer her safely out of the storm. He had did it. A red could catch a Queen! He knew he could and she was so worth it.

Biadora
-Aftermath of the storm-

Soon the storm begins to pick up in speed and strenght again as the second part of it sweeps in over the Weyr.

Within a few minutes after the flights end, the winds are too hard to fly in.
And a few minutes later.... the dragons lifts their heads for a unison keen.
~Ariath~ they would answer in reply to any queeries. ~Ariath is gone. She tried to fly back to the Weyr. Terieth and Gareth are so far well, but a tree has fallen and closed him in, they can't move him.. They are going to try and sit tight and wait the storm out~
