K so we've been making this patch for a while now, and I think we should release it soon (preferably before AS release their FP 1.2 just to pwn them at patching speed :P ).

IMO we should do something like this:

1. Playtest like crazy* to discover all bugs and major inbalances, then fix them.

2. Playtest again like crazy* to try and eliminate any other imbalances that might occur after step 1 or that we didnt notice.

3. Release a beta version, either to the general public for feedback from the whole community, or get a team of decent/good people (both from and outside the clan) to playtest, fix as they give us feedback, and continue like this until we feel it is balanced enough (without loosing its OPness and uniqueness ofc).

Then we release it :P

We can then proceed to make a version 1.1 or w/e if we want to or if it is necessary.

Suggestions? Discuss :)

*with playtest like crazy, I mean like several games a day if possible

ya I agree that we should try and "officially" release it soon. However we first should try to get the bugs fixed from the recently done patch though

Put all of the changes into notes. I can review the notes, check for major imbalanced things in the FP. Since as of now I cant get the FP working.

kk Ill read them over on the weekend. I wont suggest however, just state anomalies in the notes, which you guys can fix. And imo use the Canadians/Mexicans/USA in the Natives list plz :P

with the patch online play is the same as offline play so I don't see how that makes a difference?

But they are awesome :( . I dont see why no other natives, they are a good idea. only 3 more tbh, thats not that much and would add a little more flare to the patch

Lol idk, whenever, or if ever, we feel like making an update (if we get a lot of complaints about the balance we will have to make a balance update, and maybe we can include the new natives then lol).

IMO there is no reason to rush. While many of the civs can be what you could consider "balanced" many civs have their broken aspects in there game. cut those aspects down a bit then your alright
We dont need to give the funpatch a bad reputation, I say wait it out a bit, test a bit more. We can release it to the general public in like 2 weeks or so, after errors are polished

Yes of course, we won't rush it. IMO the top priority is that it is balanced while still fun and epic, not that we get to release it as fast as possible. But we kinda need to speed things up a little (and we have) since things were going veeeery slow before I made this thread :P
