So inform me on the unit. Is it similar to charkams (asian-native grens)... at least thats what I would guess. Will it be from artillery foundry or rax?

most likely artillery cuz of the high siege and they throw things like grenadiers ;)

Hoop throwers are really OP; they are just like grens without cav penalty and a much higher attack, plus awesome splash damage that owns everything

Oh, and they were maltese. So ports or spain imo

anyone know what type of damage they do? If ranged damage then it's fine, however siege damage units+ ports is not very fun since ports have siege dance now lol :(

Their siege damage is something between 20-25.. So they aren't great at siegeing afaik.. Someone go to campaign and inform us lol

Stats shouldn't be a proble, guys, we can always change that (including what type of damage they do) :)

;) . Last thing we need is whatever civ has this unit completely wreaking ottos. Unless ofc they are ottos, then im alright

Lol it would be kind of fun to give them to Ottos actually, while keeping the jan bonus :P

If given to any other civ however, the bonus must be reduced and changed to HI instead of just jans.

Thats a good idea, ports and spain. 1.5x vs HI, no neg cav multiplier. So it is a siege versatile archaic unit. but for this they should have relatively low hp imo, and a small RR (20-30%).

I just added both of them to Ports, just to try it out. But I think they have enough. So maybe Russia or Spain? Or maybe each get one (Russia melee, Spain musk)?

russian is ok but spain already got musk, so maybe give to dutch?

ya they do, but russia doesnt got pike like unit so that boneguard would be fine ;)
and also for dutch a musk

What stats do the boneguards have? Russia sounds good for me btw ^^ I hope boneguards are anti-cav, so you can lame melee strel + boneguard

Boneguards have like 500 hp and 12 attack.
The ranged guys have 10 range, and the hand dudes have x2 vs cav.

I have no idea why I knew those stats in my head lol.

boneguards have abnormally high hp (500) but low attack (10). Also IIRC the melee ones lack a cav bonus or maybe it's the musk ones, idk.
