For Hatamoto i would suggest either a slow regen or a slight reduce in Hp and maybe even increase its price a bit. I think Hata might be a good unit since sometimes by age 4 you can make more than 10 hatamoto however, we can only make 10 now. Which seems to make japan less fun to play for me since normally people would use Daimyo and Shogun as forward bases and Daimyo can't make hatamoto.

Fusilier would be a fun unit if all 15 are alive. With regen we would have to micro them more to keep all of them alive for the crazy speed boost. Possibly reduce hp a bit too because of super speed in group, regen, and high attack.

Travious - What would be more fun than regenerating mini tanks! However i this if you put it on Travious, there should be an age 4 requirement as to not make them too OP and maybe reduce hp slightly.

As for dog soldiers, i haven't use them much but i'm just throwing out suggestions.

However, i do think that giving regen to one of the units with build limit might be interesting.


These are some great ideas!!! Leme add on for some.

Sioux dog soldiers function as group healers/priest. They produce an aura which heals all units by 5 hp within the aura, 1 hp per dog soldier, up to 15 buildable. MAKE THEM AVAILABLE FROM THE DUCKING STABLE FFS. if your going to have hatamoto and spahi, do sioux this one favor. 240 food, 55 gold.

Hatamoto samurai should be buildable from the daimyo, as he stated. No nerf and 5 hp regen, price increased to 155f/g.

Travois hp regeneration available from BB at age 4, hp regen by 10, no group bonus.

Fusiliers: I like it xD. 8 hp regeneration per idle second.

I think I will leave it at the Fusiliers, they are quite expensive with 300 gold and only have 300 hp (a colonial dopple has 230 hp and cost 200 resources).

Imo of the original units, it should be strelet.. And certain mercs like mamelukes could have a healing rate (slower one than explo and spahi rate)

No dont, you want them to have different qualities than spahi, healing cav should be unique with spahi. Like mames aren't good enough already...
