Iroquios: 21 Minute Rec Problems: Travois are weak against ranged attacks even though they are supposed to counter LI is it? Problems: Should Travois lose health? Should they be unable to build? Problems: Tomahawks need a multiplier against Cav in ranged attack, and need nerfing against vills. These are the ones that stood out to me and im unsure which is supposed to be there, watch the rec if you want to see some of the other problems not mentioned above. (in the rec my micro is portugeuse and i was focusing on the Funpatch not my game :P) |

I'm having trouble with manors. Been working on one manor for 30 minutes, with FU halbs, petards and Howitzers with siege dance. It's down to 1400 HP, idk if I'll be able to kill it :s Edit, the hardest part is 1) getting wood for petards 2) following the damn manor all around the fruiting map Btw, walls can't trap manors. Idk if this is a bug or not, but I can' wall the manor in to prevent it from running around the map. Edited by incognoto, Jan 7 2010, 04:08 AM.

Lol, I had to laugh at that Incog ![]() Someone decided that manors should have incredible siege resistance so that they could function as walls. But at the same time he made them movable and I guess 'flying'. ![]() That should definitely be changed. |

Here are some screens (note the timer): I usually attacked with petards in waves of 30 or so. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My suggestion, if this is possible, is that anyone who kills a Brit manor receives something like... 999999 resources of all resources? i made it have like 99.9% siege resist lol so pretty much 100 damage = .1 damage or so ![]() That's an interesting idea though, I don't know if it's possible giving resources for destroying a manor, but we could make it so that they give off a lot of xp when killed. nice screenshots

On fast speed, I'm guessing I could kill one manor every... 30 to 45 minutes, so that makes more than 30$ an hour. Not bad!

I had mortars with full siege dance. They only get like 2.9k+ attack, which is still tiny vs a manor. 30 petards with 6k attack do better. ![]() The advantage with mortars is that they bombard the manor very consistently. With 60 range, and the manors slow speed, the mortars can keep firing for a long time before the manor escapes. Petards have to be made and can only be used once. Halbs with 200 siege are a waste of pop space. 4 halbs -> 800 siege, compared to a howitzer-> almsot 3k I'd say the best is: 24 vills (+1 WP) -> 24 pop space -> full siege dance 41 Howitzers -> 124 pop space -> 2910x41 = 119310 siege every volley 72 pop space left... which can be used for villagers gathering wood, halbs, and especially petards. 20 petards -> 133060 siege, which is much more economical on the pop space. on the other hand, it costs 50f (np for ports) and 100w (problem when you're out of wood).
