i don't see any specific debugger or anything but perhaps try the compare feature(under plugins-->compare) so that it will show all changes you made since previous version so that will make it a ton easier to go through and see what the error may have been
Also there's some spell checker feature which you can use (you have to DL an additional file for that) which may be able to spell check XML language so perhaps try that and if that doesn't work then maybe go back up to my first suggestion or just revert back to last known good configuration

Hmmm...it seems that if Colonial Militia are going to be able to gather resources they also have to be marked as abstractVillagers...

This means that you cannot train them in batches of 5 anymore, but only one at a time. Do you think I should divide their train time with 5 and use that, or should I enable them to be block-trained from the TC like russian vills (only in batches of 5)?

btw luckily for you there is a special colonial militia unit available only in campaign that has all the stats of cdb (but I don't know how to have it trained at tc or anything) so maybe do something with taht?

Yeah, I just divided it with 5. I'm gonna upload soon, just gotta finish some minor things. This update will include stealthed chinese monks, petards that explode on UNITS, colonial militia that can build special revolution-only buildings, CM that gather resources at a slow rate, LAZER abus guns and a lot more...! :P

EDIT: Yeah I thought about the campaign CM, but those won't have any tactics (volley, defend, melee) and stuff, and they are also abstractVillagers so they would train one at a time too...thanks anyway :)

Btw paste it in your Program files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III folder, not just in the data folder ;)

To switch to RE patch you simply rename the "units" folder that is now inside the art folder to anything else, and do what you usually do with the data\ files.

IMO we should do a funpatch FFA today :)

I've just tried otto's and revolted with them, I have got to say:AWESOME! :D

You did a great job Nick, the revolution changes are very nice! And the laser shooting abus combined with Spahi is OP :P

Well they can get the consulate building. The trickier part might be to give them access to anything in it...i guess it should be possible (in theory) but idk.

Spain! ^^

Japan would also a bit weird and Germany reduces cost of banner armies which would be difficult (impossible?) to let it work for Spain.

That leaves us:
- Russia
- France
- Dutch
- Otto
- Port
- Brit

I would go for:

- France
- Dutch
- Otto
- Russia

I wanted to test revolution.

Btw, we should increase that cost a bit probably because 200 is the same price as a hussar. I would say we make them between 300 and 350 food (331 B-) )

moar suggestions!

-mahout and howdah elephant attack and hp doubled, cost doubled as well and mahout gains x2 vs abstract cav
-explorer gets +400% hp and crackshot attack in age 2
-rodelero gets x3 vs HI
-advanced hot air balloon gets bomb attack that does 3000 siege damage (try using japan monk sabotage)
