something like an alpha male unit
make whales be fishing boats so that whales gather from other whales to gain coin
add crocodiles as other water units
or make whale like heavy and powerful but slow ships.
Add flying units or smt too :P

=( forget haveing fishes as boats, make sealing trees and prob some fishes as water vills which makeing water buildings. and have no farms, have palm trees that the monkeys gather coconuts from.

^Wandering TC was in the funp once but it was removed because some nubs though it was annoying.

Flying Dutchman is already in the game :D

You cant just give me an order like "complete my spy civ". Do you have any idea how much work that is? Seing as I'm pretty much the only one who has modded for a while now, it would require me to work many weeks or even months if I'm supposed to make that alone. Theres a reason why it took SEVERAL YEARS for a TEAM of like 90 PEOPLE to make this game.. If you want a spy civ, make your own spy civ.


If you want to suggest a new civ idea then at least give a detailed description of its different units, buildings and unique aspects. Put some work into it and maybe somebody who knows how to make it will put some work into it as well.



I would highly appreciate if somebody else could help with modding after I have uploaded the newest update. The newest update should be finished sometime before June and will include an alpha version of the animal civ.




Ive made an image showing the current tech tree for the animal civ. I went with the no aging idea. Tell me what you think.

NEW CIV: Animals
See the techtree file.

Completed units: tibetan macaques, Grizzly Bear, Lion-tailed Macaques (with all upgrades), Snow Monkeys (with all upgrades I think), Orangutans
(with all upgrades), Cougar (no upgrades), Tapir, Deer, Parrot
Completed buildings: Redwood Tree, Oak Tree, Berry Bush (not functional atm), Tropical Tree
Completed enabling techs: Forest Homes, Easy Pickings, Lesser apes, Greater apes, Elder apes

^Might have forgotten some.




General changes
- Grenadier cost reduced to 100 food and 50 coin (down from 120 food and 60 coin)
- War Huts now provide 5 population
- Town Center ranged attack now increases by 20% in Fortress, 30% in Industrial and 50% in Imperial
- Minuteman, Warrior, Sentry and Irregular stats now increase by 20% in Fortress, 30% in Industrial and 50% in Imperial
- Spy hitpoints reduced to 140 (down from 145)
- Stagecoach now kills all units it runs into
- Warrior (Native MM) build limit increased to 18 (up from 6)

Bug fixes
- Fixed Guns can now not be built until the Imperial age
- Guardian convert ability for War Chiefs now works again

Civilization specific changes

Aztec
- Now start with a free War Hut Travois
- Now start the game with 6 villagers (up from 5)
- Coyote Runner ranged resistance increased to 10% (up from 1%)
- House build bounty increased to 40 (up from 20)

Dutch
- Chuck Norris (Envoy) cost increased to 75 food (up from 50 food)

Portuguese
- Organ gun attack reduced to 30 (down from 33), and damage cap reduced to 50 (down from 60)
- Improved Organ Guns BB now only increases are of effect by 1 (down from 2) and increases damage by 15% (down from 20%)

Russia
- Randy the Pet Rhino hitpoints reduced to 420 (down from 500)

Sioux
- NEW SHIPMENT: 5 Orangutans - Fortress age - Level 10 Home City required - Prerequisite: none
- NEW SHIPMENT: 8 Orangutans - Industrial age - Level 25 Home City required - Prerequisite: 5 Orangutans - Infinite
- NEW SHIPMENT: 3 Orangutans - Colonial age - Level 40 Home City required - Prerequisite: 8 Orangutans
- NEW SHIPMENT: Orangutan Zookeepers - Industrial age - Level 40 Home City required - Prerequisite: 8 Orangutans
- Doubles Orangutan build limit (from 8 to 16)
- Orangutan hitpoins and attack increased 15%
- Orangutan speed increased by 1
- Teepee hitpoints reduced to 60 (down from 125)
- Can train Orangutans from their Teepees. Orangutan stats are:
- Ranged attack: 25 siege damage (grenade), 34 range, 2 area of effect, 3.0 ROF, x1.75 vs infantry, x1.75 vs light cavalry,

- Siege attack: 45 siege damage, 34 range, 1.5 ROF
- Hitpoints: 90
- Ranged resistance: 20%
- Speed: 4.5
- Cost: 175 food, 75 coin
- Pop cost: 3
- Build limit: 8
- Train time: 45 seconds
- Age: Colonial age
- Can now get the Counter Infantry Rifling tech from their teepees after sending the card that enables it
- Counter Infantry Rifling affects Orangutans

Spain
- Explorer can now train Lancers
- War Dogs can now train War Dogs

about stagecoach kills all, it isnt very logical that it has arena damage. you wouldnt die if stand near it, maybe we can do something else with stagecoach, like if you upgrade to stage the resc you get from it will be bigger or just a little damage
