Ok people, the time is come that we need to finish this thing!

What do we need to complete this patch?

Do we need to balance much?

I think Spain needs something extra, I was working on Command Center but the original idea I had is apparently impossible to make *rage*

I'm thinking of making that building some sort of Arsenal with a lot of techs. Not like the BB's, but cheap techs with small upgrades and more expensive ones with larger bonuses but also with drawbacks (like the Unique Church ones).

I don't think we should add much anymore, because we really need to finish this patch. What do you think?

I have my last exam next week so I can't mod on tuesday (possibly), wedensday, thursday and maybe friday. However after that I can basically eat, sleep and mod lol :P

Yes, we need to finish this thing, and if we really want to add more, we can do it in Funpatch 1.1 :P

EDIT: are we still going to do the flamethrower highlander/hunting jaeger stuff though?

maybe my this idea can help?(otto example can be modified for each civ as per its need)
we can have a building for every civ called strategic techs house which is available in indus or imp age as u want.
now techs available i tell u ^ ^ (i tellin for ottos for now).
eg: age4 there will be 3 options for Janissary researches in this strategical techs house
1)increase multiplier vs caverly by .5x but reduces hp by 100 :O(those who want to counter caverly very much eg:Sioux)
2)increase resistance by .10% but reduce speed by 1(for those who want to turtle)
3)ranged attack +5 siege damage -10 (those who dont wanna use jans as siegers but other units like bombards and
grenadiers in place of siege units)
age 5 there will be 2 options for bombards in this strategical house
1)incendiary cannonballs(might be too op)-makes cannonball explode on contact with enemy ie splash damage increase to 10 or something but ROF to 10 ie 1 shot in 10 seconds
2)light cannonballs-reduces time of firing likes ROF maybe 3 but reduces damage aswell (damage maybe 200 or 100?)

the point of this house is as u want to adjust ur unit charecteristics with situations and can even make a civ which generally losses to other civ might win via this techs and configuation of attributes of units.

Me and owns tested a little:

- jans need a penalty against inf (or at least *RI) after that hand attack area damage BB is researched
- coyote runners need a penalty against ranged cav

We are going to test more soon.

I think they got nerfed quite a lot in a version after 1.0f, that hasn't been released for the patch launcher yet.

Balance issue:

Since Brits cant get cav in age 2, an otto going full abus + some jans can simply wtfpwn the brit. Owns has come up with a suggestion that we make pikes sort of coyote runners (either for brits only or for all civs), so brits have an effective way of fighting RI (especially abus) in colonial.

Thx to owns for pointing this out.

Also, small bug: the french card that increases native/villager/skirm HP should affect crossbowmen instead of skirms (also thx to owns for this one lol).

Vert good idea, and have them with the sicket bayonet upgrade enabled to make them the most all-round, all-rounder!

Btw I also thing the Advanced Hot Air Balloon unit kinda fails...owns suggested increasing their build limit to perhaps 5-10. Any thoughts on this?

EDIT: what happened to ninjas? Weren't they supposed to have 0.5 ROF? They have 1.5 ROF now...
