Thats not the point I was making Sunil, my point was that we cant leave one unit in the dust just because another unit takes up a function. Basically we are leaving RE sepoys to fight a funpatch battle, and we all know what thatll end up as. The sepoys getting raped....

Sepoys aren't the only units that aren't changed, not every unit has to be changed. Sepoys were already very strong units, and we didn't change the 10/10. I also think that India has already enough changes, so I don't see why we need to change the sepoy. Remember, we want to actually launch this thing, so we can't keep adding stuff. We only will change things that are either unbalanced or bugged and the only way to find those things is to play it!

Sepoys aren't unchanged...they are nerfed (-20 hp).

EDIT: Maybe we could give them a new function. Maybe let them build buildings by standard? :P (idk what to do with the Battlefield construction card then though).

I like that idea. I mean seriously, reducing 20 hp means the are worse than RE, and without the HI multiplier they are UP for fanpatch standards. Do the battlefield construction idea, removing the card or replacing it, and lets them build agras in age 3, after the first wonder is built, if the original one falls.

Actually, heres a perfect solution. Sepoys can make caravanserai/rax at any time, and with battlefield construction they can remake any fallen wonder, for 1000w/500g, or so, more of a lategame card, but is still useful in what i think would be many situations

Thats a terrible, terrible idea fuzzy. 1 to 2 to 4 to 8 to 16 to 32 to 64 in 6 min. thats just 6 min....



Oh and what do you think of my building sepoy idea? Seems like itll be an uber FB civ, with sniper-fire/awesome urumi/zambs :)

hmm 5 minutes. Leme think. No. especially with pop issues, having a replicating sepoy, would make them the most OP civ, especially going over 300+ pop

No problemo actually. Simply make a new protounit with the excact same stats and appearance of the wonder, which will be obtainable after you age up with that wonder and you have sent Battlefield construction.

now that Sepoys and gurkha dont have multiplier against heavy inf...what of the green jackets card(gurkha multiplier one)and the card to increase sepoy gurkha sowar stats by 10% should be made to increase sepoy zamburak sowar stats and by 15%?

Maybe +1 zamburak bonus vs. HI? Or would that be too OP?

Btw I think we should do something about the Gurkha unit upgrades..I mean now they increase hitpoints and attack by 20%/30%/50% and increase range by 1...the attack boost is completely useless as Gurkhas do 4000 damage and will one-shot most units even in Imperial, and the range boost is quite useless as well (63 range in imperial opposed to 60 range in colonial isn't much better :P ).

@ Fuzzy: no to the sepoy orgy thing, it would be too OP :P
But maybe the Mansabdar sepoy could "give birth" to normal sepoys every couple of minutes? :P


Btw I'm gonna make an update now ;)

hmm, maybe mansabar units spawn 1 normal unit of their type every minute, howdah/mahout/siege eles every 3 minutes?

And i still think give building to sepoys... Could you do that?

each gurkha upgrade reduces the ROF time
so colonial=45
fotress=40
industrial=35
imperial=30
so they could be more effictivly used in battle field?

nice idea! I'm not sure if they need to be able to shoot faster though, they are already quite effective especially vs civs with expensive units

I like that idea, maybe increase each tier by 5 seconds, so 50 in colonial, 45 in fort, 40 in industrial, 35 in imperial??

1)back to topic:is it possible to show that how much % gurkha has recharged after firing a shot.eg:explorers sharpshooter.this can help to see in how much time will gurkha be able to fire his next shot and plan effectively in battle *fuzzy *


2)also i think we should give some proper unique improvements to ottos as they only have one with 15 jans and other with 3 bombards
