here's the SK fix, just alittle bit of code i forgot to edit rather than posting the entire file I just posted the chunk i changed since no_nickname is currently modifying the baseline file i believe so will add this code once he uploads

This is the outline I have so far (except for the already done changes):

Germany
Uhlans become very important in early ages, while late game is dominated by dopples
-Stealth petards
-Uhlans become MM, decay is 2 hp per 3 seconds
-Uhlans + 4 attack
-Cav attack card increases attack boost to 30% (from 15%)
-Explorer can train Uhlan


India
Sepoy become the main unit, Gurkha’s become snipers and urumi trainable
-Sepoy get attack bonus vs HI
-Sepoy get -20 hp
-Gurkha get ROF 45.0 (up from 3.0)
-Gurkha get a range of 60
-Gurkha get an attack of 4000 with 0.1x against artillery and 0.1 against ships
-Gurkha hp decreases with -60 hp
-I don’t know if they should get more LOS, you might need to use scouts (does that work, a units range is bigger than it’s LOS but you can see its target with other units?
-Is it possible to change the LOS in another mode, for example stagger mode? This way a Gurkha has crappy stats in normal mode, but he can moves at 4.5 speed. In another mode (stagger mode for example) they move only at 0.5 speed, but have great LOS, great range and great attack with low ROF.
-Gurkha cost increased
-Gurkha has a build limit of 13
-Gurkha can stealth :D
-Can train Urumi now, cost will be 150f/150g ( I think this is also in another file)
-Every Urumi shipment will give Urumi +0.5 bonus vs HI (this also works for the infinite urumi shipment)
I don’t know if you can change the range of the explorer crack shot and if it’s possible to give that to Gurkha.

Iroquois
Don't know what to do with them yet.
- Aennas get ROF 1.0
- Tomas get -95 hp

Japan
Don't know what to do with them yet.
- Can build twice as many shrines
- Can train Hatamoto samurai from rax. Cost in Colonial 150f/ 150g, cost decreases each age with 23f/24g
- Ashis + 1 speed ?
- Yumi + 3 speed ?

Ottoman
Abus civ
- Abus bonus vs HI increases with +2.5
- Abus can be trained from TC
- Abus get 80% RR
- Abus get - 60 hp

Port
Late Game Civ
-Mortar card now increases range with +60
-
Russia
-Oprichnicks less hp
-Oprichnicks available in age 2
-Oprichnicks more siege
-Now build vills in batches of 5, cost per vills stays the same
-Can build forts in colonial
-Infantry trains faster
Spain
Lancer + Goon civ, unction rules
-Card that gives Lancers x1 vs infantry extra also affects goons
-Explorer regenerates faster
-Start with -2 vills, + 300 wood (tp's in discovery :) )
-Boost in shipment rate


+ ofc the changes we already have.

I don't have much time tonight, I will implement the India changes tomorrow. If you guys want you can mod some other civs.

These ideas aren't final obviously, do with them what you want Sunil/Nickname/Duke, be creative ;).

IMO France should get auto upgrading skirms in industrial to make up for the forced veteran xbow usage.

K I updated with more changes. Now we have 3 edited files instead of one :O

protoy.xml - unit and building changes
techtreey.xml - tech, civ and HC card changes
stringtable.xml - in-game text changes (only the english version)

No only the age 2 ones. Remember Brits don't get hussars in colonial, so they need an alternative. An combo of very long ranged lbow + musk + super grens is now very normal for Brits.

They move as fast as the new puma's now :) This will be OP age 1 raiders :D

We have so much OP units now, Gurkha (kills you before you can see them), Puma (is faster than cav), Oprichnicks (age 2), Ashi/Yumi (super fast), Abus (just OP), CKN (kills everything), Flamethrowers (fast), Settler wagons (freakishly fast + bonus vs vills), this should be fun :D

UP civs now: Port (only one small late game boost), Iro (main unit is dead now), Sioux (no changes yet)

I have some ideas:

- Ports will rely on long-ranged soldiers (Mortar card increases range by 60, Genitours card increased dragoon range to 60, and Cassadors get 80 range)
- Iroquois Travoises can build buildings but now also act like small monstertrucks, dealing trample damage to every unit nearby! Also, travoises get a hitpoint boost and their stats improve as the player ages up.
- Sioux....ehhh lol

I like the idea, but I think the range for goons and cassas are a bit to great. I think the sniper Gurkha should have the greatest range for none artillery military.

So maybe let the goon range card increase the range of Goons to 38 so with the arsenal tech it will have 40 (I think). This is twice as much as they now can get.

Let the card also increase the range of cassas to 40. Without card they now should have 26 range (more than falc, less than Heavy cannon).

The Mortar range card also affects heavy cannon and let their range to 36 (from 28).

This would make their army insanely great late game :)

Updated some more. Also fixed the Musketeer/Grenadier combat card in age 3 to provide only 15% boost to Grens, and made the 2 age2 ones boost grens by 25% instead.

Also changed British Rockets so they have these stats:

- Hitpoints: 200
- Ranged resistance: 50%
- Damage: 1000, 200 range, 12 area, x3 vs Ships, x0.25 vs artillery, x0.1 vs arrowknight
- However reduced LOS to 20 so you have to use a scout or another unit to fire at units (I think you can fire at buildings anyway)
- Changed ROF to 50
- Changed train points to 125 (up from 98)
- Added build limit of 8

To the rocket projectile i made these changes:

- Increased lifespan from 5 to 95
- Added LOS of 25 :P

Hmm, the India changes don't seem to work. Gurkha is bugged (he's falling down again and again, funny to see), and Sepoy doesn't have a bonus vs HI.

I will see if I can fix it.

Sioux

Infantry sucks, cav all the way.
- Can build all diferent ranged cavs
- Goons are trainable
- Ruyters are trainable
- Cav archers are trainable
- Rifle riders + 3 range
- Rifle Riders + 2 attack
- Axeriders 1.25x Heavy cav
- Bowrider becomes siege/vill kill unit
- Bowrider - 7 attack
- Bowrider 1.6x vills
- Bowrider siege damage increased to 49
- Sioux can build banks
- Bank limit is 2 (no cards to increase that)

Heres a new update. Gurkhas can now stealth. Also fixed a bug where Gurkhas had only 40 range in Defend and Volley mode.

Ok I've added:

- Uhlan hp decay
- Spain starting with -2 vills + 300 wood
- Spain explorer regenerates faster
- Russia build vills in batches of 5 (cost per vills stays the same), they always start with 500 food so they always should be able to queue a batch at start
- Port MM don't decay :)

BTW, always make sure you use the last files, because the last protoy Sunil posted didn't include changes I made earlier today. I will add now and post the file again.

EDIT:If you make changes, do it to the files in this post! The ones posted here are up to date as far as I know.

The last line in my previous post is very important!

Someone said in the .txt document that 'explorers could train uhlans' was already done. It didn't work for me, maybe because we went with an old protoy or maybe the lines didn't work. Can the one who added it check it? If it's there, but it doesn't work, see if you can make it work with abilities.xml in one one of the DATA.bar's.

BTW, love the work so far :)

Uhlan training didnt work? Hmm ive gotta fix it then...

EDIT: LOL my bad. I had written "Uhlans" instead of "Uhlan" xD

I also fixed a bug where Abus Guns had initial HP of 70 but maximum HP of 700 xD (so they could be healed all the way up to 700 :P )

@ha_luke, I'm pretty sure I already took out the <immovable> line from the bank and shrines so it shouldn't have been there lol
also to make envoys fly i put movement type as >air< rather than land or water, but not sure if it will work rofl
