hmm ya usually when an explorer is lying around dead there is a text box next to him saying things, you may have to enable it in options though, not quite sure

Copy an existing one and paste it at the bottom of the file. Change the number in the tag to one more than the latest entry. Change the string to what you want. Done ;)

I think you can have special strings for different civs (look at herd animal string for example, where India and Japan sees a different text than the other civs when reading herd animal descriptions).

doesnt matter IMO, can just have a funny epic one for euro/nats (perhaps "no flaem men!" or "OGM OGM WAHAHT A FUCAACKCIN NOUBBB WAHAHAHAHAH!" and asians can have other sayings :P)

Also I think the Asian ones are different for India, Japan and China, so we definately can have seperate texts for them. Idk if its possible to seperate euro ones though.

Btw I think there are some bugs in here...but this update spanned over so many days that I sort of lost track of some things :P . Anyway, here are the changes:

February 4th-14th Changes:

General
- Fixed a bug where advanced hot air balloons had 30 damage cap but 100 damage. Damage cap up to 250. Also increased Balloon ranged and siege attacks to 125
- Halberdier speed increaded to 3.25 (up from 3.00)
- Fixed a bug where Bomber ships had a build limit of 5 (should be 2)
- Fixed flying ship bounty XP to correspond with their costs
- Airship ROF decreased to 3 (down from 6)
- Airship SR changed to RR and increased to 0.75 (up from 0.50)
- Light flying ships now do x1.5 vs heavy flying
- Airship hitpoints increased to 2500
- Bomber ship HP up to 650 (from 500)
- Light flying ship cost reduced to 200 wood, 200 coin (down from 300 wood, 300 coin). Bounties changed accordingaly.
- Light flying ship hitpoints increased to 275 so they are not one-shot killed by Bomber ships
- All heavy flying ships do x0.75 damage vs all light flying ships
- Reduced bomber ship speed to 5 like it should be
- House build limit increased to 25
- Warship upgrades no longer affect flying ships
- Spies now have a x8 bonus vs AbstractDaimyo (includes shogun)
- All types of ninja now do x10 vs AbstractDaimyo (including shogun) and x2 vs samurai
- *****All flying ships now have new icons

NATIVE CIVS
- The Native now train Flying Purple Tapirs instead of Light flying ships:
- 205 hp
- explodes like a petard when it attacks, but can only attack other flying units
- 1025 damage, 7 area
- costs 120 food, 60 wood
- 10.25 speed
- 36 LOS
- build limit 10

China
- Flamethrower range increased to 14 (up from 10)
- Village build limit increased to 8

Dutch
- Envoy BB now only gives 331% increase in stats (down from 400%)
- Envoy Blood Smash base damage down to 180 (from 200)
- When Revolting, banks now gather at 1,75 coin/s instead of 1,36 (the old number was from before when banks cost 450 f/w and also gathered faster)
- Flying Dutchman ROF decreased to 2 (down from 5)
- Flying Dutchman hitpoints increased to 1750 (from 1500)
- Flying Dutchman can now only train Ruyters
- Flying Dutchman can now see stealth units

Ottomans
- Great Bombards now fire sheep
- Veteran, Guard and Imperial upgrades added for Hoop Throwers (in saloon)
- Silk Road card now gives +25% res (up from +15%)
- Infinite spahi shipment icon changed (made it myself :P)
- Instead of normal Airships they have the Flying Galley:
- 820 hp
- 60% RR
- 100 attack, 2 ROF, 16 range, 3 area, x1.5 vs buildings, x0.25 vs artillery, x0.75 vs all light flying ships
- 14 speed
- 43 LOS
- Build limit 4

Spain
- Veteran, Guard and Imperial upgrades added for Boneguards (in church)
- Church build limit set to 5

Russia
- Veteran, Guard and Imperial upgrades added for Boneguards (in saloon)

Iroquois
- Travois: penalty of x0.2 vs light cavalry added
- Longhouse build limit increased to 17
- Can now train Flying Purple Tapirs from Farms
- Now train all flying ships from Farms instead of War Huts

Aztecs
- Now trains all flying ships from Farms instead of Nobles Huts/War Huts
- Can now also train Flying Purple Tapirs from their farms

Sioux
- Now train all flying ships from Farms instead of War Huts
- Can now also train Flying Purple Tapirs from their farms and Teepees

Japan
- Hatamoto now only available from barracks
- Hatamato damage cap decreased to 72 (down from 80)
- Ashigaru musketeers now have the light cavalry tag (so *RI will do more damage to them)

British
- Manor build limit increased to 25
- In addition to their normal ships, they can train the Spy Ship:
- 225 hp
- 25% RR
- Cost: 60 wood, 40 coin
- Build limit 8
- 10 speed
- Can stealth
- 48 LOS

Germans
- ******Instead of normal light flying ships they have the Jet Plane:
- 240 hp
- 20% RR
- 21 speed
- 40 attack, 0.5 ROF, 1 area, 22 range, x0.1 vs villagers, x0.25 vs infantry, x0.25 vs cavalry, x0.1 vs artillery, x1.5 vs all heavy flying, x1.25 vs buildings
- Build limit 10
- 26 LOS
- Cost: 320 wood, 180 coin

lol interesting, however i don't think it makes a difference since the highest multiplier is taken, they don't add the HI and the RC multiplier together :P

lol interesting, however i don't think it makes a difference since the highest multiplier is taken, they don't add the HI and the RC multiplier together :P
Actually both are taken, just like with Asian cav which have a bonus vs infantry (positive) and heavy infantry (negative). If you add the bonuses together the cav does normal damage against HI.

i don't think brit with 25 manor is a good idea. the house bb how give 50 villagers? and houses give them 50 villager total when making house? isn't that a bit overboard? So like if you build all25 house by age 4 and use the bb, you would have OVERthe villager limit for sure for britain. i would estimate to about 120-130? unless it cap out at 99 or 100 or w/e the limit is.

And cool you use my planes ideas :D

and yes you miss a few glitches that i mention earlier, unless it was fixed already and wasn't in the change log
- french special chruch grenadier card?
- and i'm not sure if it is glitch or not, but i don't see the flying crow in the castle.
- is the moving banks attacking yet?
- turks house bb fixed?
- oh yeah, not sure if you guys meant for this to happen or not, but pet obtain from treasure keep the "sioux pet stats and pop"
- like i got a polar bear, and it stats went up from the guardian, and i hover over it and it cost 2 pop.

I did post some more plane suggestions quite a few days ago, but it didn't look like anyone saw it. It was posted before the flying tapir post.

why is japan keep getting nerf T_T
also i think 40 shrine is too much to handle, instead of 40 shrine could you guys make like it like 20 that gather 2.2xfaster cost is 1.5xmore or something. or 30 shrine that gather 1.6x faster cost is 1.25 more? (the extra .2 and .1 gathering rate is to make up for the lost in "herded" animals)

even though this isn't really related to funpatch, but if you guys have time, can you mess around and see i fyou can make asian AI make gates. I tend to play with ai with my friends and we enable it so they make wall, but for some reason the asians aren't making gates. Thanks in advance

Oh yeah for dutch revolt, is 1.75g/s the standard WITH the card (the one that increases coin production forgot the name sorry). If it is not, would it be better to make revolted dutch gather as much as a standard bank + card?

And i just check the chinese castle again in age 4, and i don't see the flying crow.

Usually the bonuses aren't added, they are multiplied. So for example naginatas do 1.5 vs inf and 0.66 vs heavy inf, and 1.5*0.66=1. So by giving ashis the light cav tag they will take 4x damage from skirms and with CIR that will increase to x6.

Canadians
Units:
-Hockey Player (sohei model, built limit 20)
Cost: 40 f, 50c
Speed: 4.5
HP: 150, 20% HR
Attack: 20, x1.5 vs heavy inf
-Cdb

Techs:
-Great White North: All unit LOS +8, speed+ 0.5
Cost: 100f 100g
-British Support: Ships in 3 redcoats and one hussar for every 3 minutes the game has lasted, up to 30 mins (use consulate versions so they autoupgrade)
Cost: 450 f 450 w 450 c
-Metis leaders: All natives -10% cost and -25% train time

Americans
Units: Colonial militia (just the revolution ones, built limit 15)

Techs:
-Bush administration: Berry bush gathering rates +40%
Cost: 100f 100w
-Health Care reforms: Villagers gain +100% hp but -5% gather rates
-Manifest Destiny: CM +10 build limit

Spartans
Units:
-Spartan Hoplite (consulate tercio), built limit 5
Cost: 500f 500c
HP: 400, 65% HR
Speed: 5
Attack: 35, x3 vs cav, x2.3 vs light inf, x2 vs inf

-DITISSPARTAA: Spartans gain an extra multiplier vs inf

Well from the other percentage stuff on aoe, percentages of stuff are multiply together and not added. Take AI on expert with 50% for example. They will gather 20x1.5x1.5 on crates. I believe this should apply to damage multiplier as well, NOT 100% sure since im too lazy to test it and give you feedback and i dont have the new update to check the damage received on those ashi.
