Hey guys, not sure if you fixed the ottoman house BB for settlers yet or not, but i was messing around with the techtreey file, and notice that 1294 the code says "BigMarketSettlerSpeed" while line 52654 the code says "BigHouseSettlerSpeed." I changed the word MARKET to HOUSE and the BB appears. :D

and yes i don't know what ESO is i heard of it before though

The Jan BB can make them train faster. Or we can just make the cheaper jans card reduce their train time. And move it to age 1 or 2 :D

i fail to see how it makes a difference if it is avaliable in age 1 or age 2, nobody in their right mind would get it in age 1 anyway as it does not have any effect until you begin making janissaries.

im just saying t shouldnt be available age 1, only age 2 as that is when all military cards except for maybe early ranged cav/cav scouts, but those are team cards. I mean it serves no function so why???

Hey how bout bringing back the old prayer from AoM??? tasking/garrisoning villagers on churches to increase exp generation. Maybe have this available through the unique church? and ofc priest/imams can be used on them too, functioning similar to war priest cept a bit slower. Although it should serve a different function than the fire pit, im just not sure what.

Oh i know!!! give powers such as temporary speed/attack/hp/hp reg/what not, which last the more the praying villagers. so like 1 sec every vil up to 20 vils, reusable every 1-2 minutes. Similar to inspiration and other asian boosts.

Actually, we were talking about a BB and a card :P

And I suggested age 1 for the card, since you probably wont have enough slots in age 2 to fit it in.
On the BB, I think we should leave it as it is, and do the card change instead :P

Yo Nick, a day back you mentioned about improving fort.. so a couple of alternative things popped into my mind

- Slight hp/dmg boost to nearby units (sucks because when you revolt you got the campfires, tents, and now unlimited forts..) or
- A dojo function: produces cost-wise batches of any units that the fort can train or
- Make it a stationary falconet with 1 range less, so falconets can actually siege them or
- Give a multiplier vs infantry (or just LI) to make it somewhat useful in turtling/ff, but I think giving the multiplier vs all infantry would be just too OP.. Fast fortress with fort wagon would pwn any colonial army or
- Let fort train mercs with less train points than saloon

EDIT:
Is it possible to give rocket a separate tag? Making forts anti-rocket buildings would protect the economy from those uberlame 200 range nukes. So there could practically be Anti-Rocket (like anti-ship) attack with a splash?

Think of spanish fast imperial hussar revolt.. would be nice.. You could send fort wagons instead of hussar shipments and therefore, have a more or less the normal 12min mark attack force and after it steady supply of them throughout your campaign. Also sending the revolt deck fort wagon would be more viable.

Leme add on

Star fort, in addition to extra hp/attack, fort gains .5 velocity. Moving forts ftw xD.

Forts train units x2 faster, same cost. Forts cannot move while training however, similar to daimyo.

Maybe for infantry multiplier maybe a meer 1.35x, making them useful for turtle.

Nearby infantry, and infantry only get a 10-15% hp boost

Forts can train the following units for each civ (similar to the suggestions i made before):

Germany: Landsknecht or Black rider or Jaegars, which ever one you see fit
British: Highlanders
Dutch: Hackapells
Ottoman: Corsair
French: Swiss Pikemen
Ports: Mamelukes
Spain: Etmeli
Russia: Manchu

no I did change the range. Probably mistyped so said 1000 instead of 200 :P

well we do need to nerf them, because having cannons that shoot your base down without you even seeing them is kinda happy. IMO 40 range is fine, still longer than regular cannons and rockets have extremely good damage as well.

maybe 55 then? 40 does semm quite low, but with 200 have a stealth scout for LoS and long range rape.

Hey i was just randomly thinking, could we make axe riders similar to meteor hammers, throwing melee axes, and making dog soldiers sole melee cav (make available from corral guise... comeon), but adding even more versatility to sioux and making their SEAR raiding feasible, since the penalty is quite lame atm, and this will help them overcome it and preserve the AR better, but not raping the vils too much.

hmmm for japan, how about making like the more villagers you have, the more hatamoto you can make? I think 10 is too little. Like every 10 villagers, you can make 1 more hata. so you are cap with 75 villagers with a total of 17 or 18 hatamoto.
