General Site Rules
General Forum Rules Please read all of the rules below, some of them have consequences that come with them if disobeyed or ignored. Rule #1  The staff have authority, and if a staff member asks you to change something, it's usually for a good reason. I trust my staff completely, and they are my staff for a reason. ^^     Rule #2  Godmodding, powerplaying, and metagaming is not permitted. If you don't know what any of these terms mean, please ask an admin. 3 offences result in a temporary ban, if it continues after the ban, you will be banned for good.     Rule #3   All storylines that you want to start are welcome. Just make sure that they are appropriate for the site itself. It's always a good idea to run plots by an admin before putting them into play.     Rule #4  Everyone here has different personalities, but please try to be courteous to your peers. Kindness and respect will get you a long way. Also, please do not take OOC drama IC, and vice versa. If there is a serious problem, bring it to a mod's attention.     Rule #5  Please read the Rules Regarding Dragons. They're really important to understand.     Rule #6  You may have as many characters as you want, if you keep them all active. But if you have more than 5, don’t expect them all to impress at one time. When you don’t want to RP one of your characters, let the managers know and we will delete your character’s info from the rest of the pages. You can also put them up for adoption. If you have a rare creature, you may not put them up for adoption. It's either you keep them, or we delete them.    Rule #7  Please keep in mind that this weyr is mainly centered around homosexual couples. Don't be shocked when you see two guys holding hands, exchanging a kiss, or anything of that nature. Girls are going to do it too. Yes, there are people who are straight, but this weyr was created as a sanctuary for those who prefer mates of the same gender. Also, please keep any flight reactions behind a locked bored (pm a manager for a locked board password). No sexual content is allowed outside of a locked board. Also, subsequently, this board locked so that no one under the age of 13 is allowed on the board. If you take issue with anything said above, this may not be the place for you. Rule #8  If you have any questions, make sure to ask. We’d love to answer them, and even other people in the group can answer as well, except on certain things that are matters of the general group.    Rule #9  If you have any ideas on how to improve the group, let me know. Ideas are taken into consideration. Post your ideas on the suggestions board.     Rule #10  Plots between characters are wonderful, but please don't assume that your character knows another character without discussing it with the other mun. It'll save a lot of headaches and drama if you plan it in advance.     Rule #11  You must ask to join the group with an impressionable pet. Runners are not impressionable, therefore you can join with them. Creatures that are threats (such as tunnelsnakes) are not allowed as pets.     Rule #12  Please follow the rules set out by the creator of a race. For instance, if the race page states that you need permission from the creator to RP one of them, then please, ask the creator. It's not hard to send a PM, and it saves a lot of trouble later on. ^^ Rule #13 Please do not steal any information from this site, be it dragon information, weyr information, or character species. Eventually, it will get back to us that you stole the information, and we will handle the situation accordingly.   Rule #14  This is the most important rule of all: you need to have fun. An RPG is about having fun. If you find that you're finding this tedious and miserable, please tell an admin so we can try and help you sort out what's going on. Don't let this become a chore. ^^ Consequences If you fail to follow any of the rules above, you will be issued a warning. After that week, you will be allowed to return, and any repeat offences, depending on their severity, will result in a permanent ban.
