And Dave Winfield is talking about the need for more "African-American" baseball superstars in the game in order to get more young blacks boys interested in playing baseball. In other words, Winfield is saying that blacks are so shallow that they'll only aspire to do something if they see other blacks doing it. Why can't black kids look up to, say, a Chipper Jones or David Wright and be inspired? Lord knows there are plenty of white kids out there who aspire to be the next Ken Griffey Jr. or Kobe Bryant or Terrell Owens.

It just goes to show that the only people in this country TRULY interested in "transcending race" and creating a colorblind society are stupid liberal whites (more specifically neoconservative/libertarian whites; left-liberal whites are quite fond of the power they hold over Republicans when it comes to the race card and identity politics, and in the end most leftist would be unwilling to relinquish such powerfully effective political tools.)

When it comes right down to it, Hispanics and blacks (including the black savior, Barack Obama) have no interest in this type of colorblind society either, because under such a social order their victimhood status would cease to exist. Seriously, does anyone other than the stupid neoconservative whites really believe that blacks will simply give up programs such as Affirmative Action for the sake of creating a utopian "post-racial" America? Not in a million years. Regardless of what the Rush Limbaughs might say, blacks actually like Affirmative Action and all the other benefits and built-in excuses they receive because of their victimhood status -- and nothing short of mind control will ever make them change their minds about this.
