An Overly Traveled Road to Extinction

Quote:

Fundamentally, paleo-conservatism should be about the preservation of that which makes a people or a nation state unique. Within the American context that has unfortunately come to mean classical liberalism, capitalism, constitutionalism and a less permissive form of Christianity.

The single greatest flaw with such an ideology is that the things it wishes to preserve are already dead. The constitutional republic of the founders so revered by the paleo-cons is like any other legal doctrine in that it can’t help but to die along with the societal conditions that gave rise to it. It died when the states ceased to be sovereign entities able to withdraw from the union and the republics that succeeded it are as alien to the vision of the 18th century liberals that created the constitution as the founder’s republic is the typical Obama voter or Howard Stern fan.

One endlessly hears commentary about the sacred glory of the constitution and debate among paleo-cons over it’s relevance to various contemporary controversies. What is not noted is that the constitution not only failed to protect Occidental children from being forced at gunpoint to attend publicly funded indoctrination centers extolling the virtues of miscegenation while being physically abused by racial aliens it made such travesties the law of the land. Although the constitution failed to prevent Occidentals in America being dispossessed by a never ending tidal wave of third world flotsam it has granted the invaders legal equality with those that created your nation. The constitution failed to prevent America becoming a client state of Israel just as it failed to prevent the rise of Bush’s Orwellian surveillance state. The constitution has been powerless to stop the ascension of a multi billion dollar industry based upon sexual debasement and an economic order in which tens of millions of Americans live the lives of serfs slaving away for global enterprises that buy legislators, presidents and judges. While constitutionalism has done absolutely nothing to prevent cultural bolshevism dominating American life it has given legal license to every manner of social malignancy one can imagine. And yet for more then one hundred and fifty years American paleocons cling to the fantasy that the very same legal mechanism that gutted the republic they love will somehow restore it back to the halcion days of the 1950s, the early 1900s, the antebellum South, 1789 or what ever nostalgic fantasy they aspire to.

The reason that such a tragedy has come to pass is because such an outcome is a consequence of the individualistic nature of liberalism without which cultural Bolshevism simply would have not have been possible.

The mainstream of what little remains of the paleo-con movement is committed to racial egalitarianism and the notion that Occidental cultures can be perpetuated by races other then the one that created it. Mainstream paleo-cons believe that racial aliens can be assimilated to accept and even advance Occidental culture ignoring the realities of racial psychometrical differences, evolutionary psychology and mountains of historical evidence to the contrary. In short they embrace a major cause of Occidental decline (multi-racialism) and even uphold it as an example of enlighten Western values while bemoaning the societal disintegration it engenders.

He's so right about the Paleocon's obsession with "getting back to the Constitution" -- a phrase I used to use myself quite frequently. The problem with that kind of thinking is that it ignores -- or forgets -- that the Constitution, for all its well-meaning intent, ultimately failed to prevent America from turning into a socialist state, run by out-of-control judges and the mob mentality of the masses. It failed to define America as Christian (Protestant, Calvinist) nation, and that for its social makeup and institutions to remain as such, the Anglo-Saxon majority identity would have to be maintained and dominant. It failed to protect states' rights, including the right of succession. And on and on and on.

Not to say the Constitution should be from here on out ignored and thrown into the lock box of history without even a second look, but it obviously needs to be greatly improved upon, because in its current form it failed to do what it was suppose to do -- which was to preserve America as Christian Constitutional Republic.

And in this regard, they're no different than the neocons they so much despise.
