Hornets vs Spurs

Let me preface this post by saying that I have always been a Hornets fan ever since their days in Charlotte. I didn't stop bing a fan when they moved, and this looks like this is their year. People have been doubting them all season, yet they managed to take the #2 seed in the West, only to come into a first round series in which people were picking the 7 seeded Mavs to roll over the Hornets because of New Orleans’s lack of inexperience. Well, they prevailed in five games, and meet the Spurs in game 1 tonite at 10 pm. The Hornets have beaten the Spurs by more than 20 points twice this season, including a 100-75 drubbing. This matchup looks like it has the potential to go the full seven games. The Hornets have the depth of about 7-9 players, and they will use potentially the following people: Chris Paul (should have won MVP), Tyson Chandler (led NBA in offensive rebounds this season), Morris Peterson (Hornets have won 44 games in which he has made a 3 pt bucket), Peja Stojokovic (Best FT shooter in NBA this season), David West, Jannero Pargo (came on strong off the bench in games 3 and 4, at Dallas), Julian Wright, Bonzi Wells (acquired in a trade at the deadline). It will be a tough test against the likes of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Bruce Bowen and Manu Ginobili of the Spurs, but in the end, I think the Hornets are the better team, and they will prevail, slightly, in seven games.

Those last two games have been so fun to watch. I hate the spurs and duncan with a passion, it is awesome to see chandler and west inside game kill duncan.

Chandler is more athletic, more quick than most big man in the league he can grab those orebs a lot too. This series is over I say, but they are the defending national champs, so It all depends on these next two at home. If hawks can pull 2 against celtics im sure it wont be hard for spurs to. But im rooting for hornets, CP3 is the man. Loved him at wakeforest.

However I disagree with the part about Chris Paul winning the mvp. I can see the arguement on either side but I would have been fine with either.

the odd thing about the hornets is, if karma has its way, tehy will probably make the championship.... First opponent: Mavericks.... Bad Karma: Josh Howard admitted to smoking pot, RESULT: Hornets in 5... 2nd round: Spurs.... Bad Karma: Bruce Bowen kicked CP3 earlier this season... Currently: 2-2, game 5 tonite in New Orleans.... Possible Western Finals opponent: Lakers... Bad Karma.... Kobe Bryant is a rapist

I dont think Karma ever comes back and kills the spurs. If it did then the suns should have whooped them for all the shit they pulled on us last year. Flower THE SPURS, dont remind me how dirty bowen is and how dirty they are im still more pissed about last year than this year.
