Frenchy beaned in game against Cards

Frenchy was beaned in the game today against the Cards. He stayed down on the ground for a few minutes and apparently sustained a laceration inside his lower lip from the beaning.

Frenchy, when in the minors, sustained a broken right orbital bone, so anytime this happens, it is very scary for Jeff.

He did walk off the field under his own power. This happened in the 2nd inning.

This is not what we needed folks, Frenchy getting hurt during Spring Training. Let's hope the lacerated lower lip is all he sustained. Give him a few days off.
