Just watching Sportcenter, Bob Ley asked Peter Gammons if the Braves were back. Gammons said, Yes, with the lineup we have, 5 guys within the 25-27 yr age range, if Mike Hampton can stay healthy and a surprise 5th starter.

He also said, Underestimating the Braves would be a serious mistake. It will be a Mets, Braves, and Phillies pennent race until the end of the season.

It seems we have made a believer out of Peter Gammons and he is the biggest Red Sox and Yankees homer at ESPN.

All this talk about the Mets and Philies for the pennent and the Braves not mentioned, we will take the role of underdog, we can deal with it. No pressure for us. Thank You Peter Gammons.

Ya he was saying the same thing basically at the game when we were on ESPN the other day. Just depending on Mike and if he is healthy we have a good shot.
