honestly, close-mindedness is what 2b obviously showing.. with the fact that he gives no reason, just his belief. that kills arguments - i hate when people do that.
No, he did that because everyone else has already argued over this and it's basically pointless...

He was saying you have closed minds because you are willing to say No, but not willing to discuss why and debate seriously.

I will say that him calling 2B dumb was uncalled for though.
Ill just put it this way. If a threads not dumb and a person calls it dumb. Whats wrong with calling the person who called it dumb even if they aren't? catch my train of thought, hope so because I don't haha.

Here's what I don't get. Why is it that whenever people have conservative beliefs about something, we are "close-minded," but everyone else is entitled to his or her opinion.

It doesn't make sense. Aren't you being just as "close-minded" by not "accepting" my viewpoint as valid?

Bleh. This will turn into something political, and that's not what I want, so nevermind.

I actually am conservative in many political beliefs. i would say I am more conservative than liberal. But ABWS pretty much explained it.

I didn't really mean political beliefs....just conservative beliefs in general....without the political connotation attached to the word conservative.

But like I said, just forget it.

i'm pretty much on the same boat with stat.. seriously, stick to the thread and provide something useful to talk about, not a 2 letter word. Add some input please, not just randomless chatter like some people have......

Haven't I already explained this?

There. is. no. point.

This thread should've been closed forever ago. It's already been "argued" out.

How has it been argued out? I read through it.. saw a couple of people on both sides, and Corey randomly saying pointless stuff about how nobody's addicted to cough syrup (lmao.. sure..).. I try to put my input and give my opinion and 2B goes "hey, lets get my posts up" and just says No. it's really impossible to truely argue something out.

 Trust me, that's the last thing 2B is trying to do.

Since this really leans toward a political thread, I'd say in this case, it has been. BN doesn't want political topics on this board.

I wish someone would just close the topic. If I could, I would.

hmm.. just seem this.. the thing about legalization, though, is that IF that happened i'm sure only the goverment would be able to sell it.. and they'd take out a lot of the THC and honestly it'd be a lot weaker.. you wouldn't see a lot of the high quality weed such as grape ape, a lotta cali shit, etc.. and dealing would still probably be illegal.

in all honesty, weed isn't horrible.. it's just the people that become burnt out on it cause it to get a bad rep..

i guess i'd say legalize it, but it wouldn't change much.
If it does get legalized, they should atleast allow people to grow it personal. That would be great. But ofcourse we are talking about if it gets legalized.

Also I woudnt doubt companies will try to put addictive stuff in there weed cigarrettes or whatever they make if it gets legalized

I have to agree with BF74 here. There really isn't a link that suggests that if you smoke pot you're going to become a drug addict. It is less harmful to you than alcohol or cigarettes. If regulated and distributed by the government, you have a source that can insure quality and keep people from buying laced quantities. All in all, its better than alcohol or cigarettes.

I can see the argument of if you make it legal you could make other things legal (murder, rape, etc.) I get the overall point. But the message there is failed because those things intrude upon other individuals. Treat weed like alcohol and cigarettes. You can't smoke in public and you can't use it on the job. So you can get high at home. IF you are caught driving while under the influence of weed, you can be treated like a DUI.
