I am trying to find the link to where this was said, this was stated on Shanks's site but there was no link to where this info was found. I can list that site as to where I got the information until I find the real link.

He's throwing at 75% already and will throw curveballs next week. Expected to be ready to contribute in June.

I have seen Gonzo quote this before or something along this line this week.

I doubt that he will be back before june but it sure sounds like he can be. Mike should take his time coming back so he does not hurt himself trying to get back. I hope by june we are in first or second and making mike think that he is not really needed just yet so dont push yourself.

yea he just needs to take his time because when we are in the division race late in the season we can have moylan (righty) pitch the seventh, gonzo (lefty) pitch the eighth, and soriano (righty) to close it out.

that righty, lefty, righty will drive teams crazy

I agree. It sure is good to see Gonzo coming along like he is though. We all know the Braves are not going to rush him. They will give him plenty of time at Richmond before he comes to Atlanta.

When he does return, that will be like making a trade for a lefty reliever and we get rid of no one.

I did read somewhere, I believe ajc.com, Moylan is working on a changeup to go with the other pitches he has so that it breaks in on the lefthanded hitters, he was devasting last yr with what he had now to add that pitch, then getting Gonzo back, oh yeah, righty, lefty, then righty, no one, not even those Mutts and Phillies will want to face it.
