(1) Recruit. A gamer wishing to join ToG must initially serve as a Recruit in the community for a minimum of three (3) full days after the date of his or her initial recruitment. During a gamer’s time as a Recruit, he or she is encouraged to learn about ToG, become familiar with ToG’s Rank Structure, ToG’s Honor Code, and ToG’s Regulations, and decide whether ToG is the right community for him or her. During the same time, members of the Brigade the Recruit joined are to evaluate whether the Recruit would be a good member in ToG and ToG as a whole. (2) Private. After serving a minimum of three (3) days as a Recruit, registering on the ToG Website, and being approved by the Brigade he or she joined, a new member of ToG is eligible for promotion to the rank of Private. As a Private, a member will be assigned to a Company within his or her ToG Brigade. (3) Corporal. After serving a minimum of three (3) days as a Private, a member is eligible for promotion by his or her Captain to the rank of Corporal. A Corporal‘s primary responsibilities include aiding new Recruits and Privates, and assisting the Sergeants and Lieutenants of his or her Company. (4) Sergeant. After having successfully served a minimum of five (5) days as a Corporal, a member is eligible for promotion by his or her Captain to the rank of Sergeant. A Sergeant‘s primary responsibilities include recruiting additional members, aiding new Recruits and Corporals, and assisting the Captain and Lieutenants of his or her Company. (5) Lieutenant. After having successfully served a minimum of fourteen (14) days as a Sergeant, a member is eligible for promotion by his or her Captain to the rank of Lieutenant. A Lieutenant’s primary responsibility is to assist his or her Captain with the day-to-day overseeing and training of his or her Company. (6) Captain. After having successfully served as a Lieutenant, a member is eligible for promotion by his or her Commander to the rank of Captain. A Captain’s primary responsibility is to oversee a Company in his or her Brigade. This responsibility includes making sure the members of his or her Company adhere to the ToG Honor Code, ToG Regulations, and any other ToG rules. Each Captain has the power to promote or demote the members of his or her Company pursuant to the ToG Honor Code and the ToG Regulations. (7) Lieutenant Commander. After having successfully served a minimum of fourteen (14) days as a Captain, a member is eligible for promotion by his or her Commander to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. A Lieutenant Commander’s primary responsibility is to assist his or her Commander in all aspects of the running and overseeing of his or her Brigade, including the Commander responsibilities listed in the ToG Regulations. Each Lieutenant Commander is also to oversee two (2) to four (4) Companies and provide any assistance the Companies may require. A Lieutenant Commander will also take over Commander responsibilities if the Commander requires a temporary leave of absence. Command will be relinquished back to the Commander upon his or her return from the leave of absence. (8) Commander. After successfully serving as a Lieutenant Commander, a member is eligible for promotion by his or her Section General to the rank of Commander. A Commander’s primary responsibility is to oversee his or her Brigade. This responsibility includes ensuring the members of his or her Brigade adhere to the ToG Honor Code, RG Regulations, and any other RoG rules. A Commander must also ensure weekly Brigade meetings take place, a Brigade List is properly and timely submitted for his or her Brigade by Friday of each week, and that his or her Brigade remains active in the online gaming community by registering for and participating in the ToG Leagues and any ToG tournaments. A Commander is also responsible for reporting the status of his or her Brigade to his or her Section General weekly. Each Commander has the power to choose any game-specific identification under Rule 1.6(C) for his or her Brigade. Each Commander also has the power to demote or remove the members of his or her Brigade pursuant to the ToG Honor Code and the ToG Regulations. (9) Section General. After successfully serving as a Commander, a member is eligible for promotion by vote of the District Generals and Titans to the rank of Section General. A Section General oversees all Brigades in his or her Section. The primary responsibilities of a Section General are to guide, assist, and train the Commanders in his or her Section and to ensure that each Commander’s responsibilities are properly fulfilled. Each Section General must also hold weekly Section meetings, update Brigade Lists submitted by the Brigades in his or her Section, and moderate the website forums for the Brigades in his or her Section. Each Section General is also required to report the status of his or her Section at the weekly Section General and District General meeting. A Section General has the power to demote or permanently remove the members of his or her Section pursuant to the ToG Honor Code and the ToG Regulations. Each Section General may also request the creation of a new Brigade within his or her Section by requesting such from the District General(s). Each Section General can be identified by the initials “SG” at the end of their gamertag. (10) District General. After successfully serving as a Section General, a member is eligible for promotion by the Titans to the rank of District General. A District General oversees all of ToG and is to provide leadership support to all Sections. The primary responsibilities of a District General are to guide, assist, and train the Section Generals and ensure that Section General’s responsibilities are properly fulfilled. Collectively, the District General(s) must also run weekly meetings with the Section Generals, moderate all community-wide portions of the website, and review, approve, or deny a Section General’s request for the creation of a new Brigade. Each District General is also required to report the status of Sections at the weekly District Generals and Titans meeting. Each District General has the power to demote or permanently remove members of ToG below the rank of Section General pursuant to the ToG Honor Code and the ToG Regulations. Each District General can be identified by the initials “DG” at the end of their gamertag. (11) Forerunners. The Forerunners oversee all of ToG. The Forerunners handle all issues pertaining to the ongoing development, growth, and well-being of ToG. Together, the Titans run weekly meetings with the District Generals. The Forerunners have the power to promote, demote, or permanently remove any member of ToG. New Forerunners are promoted by vote of existing Forerunners. However, any promotion to can be vetoed by The Titans by two-thirds (2/3) vote. In the event there are no existing Forerunners, new Forerunners will be appointed by The Titans. Each Forerunner can be identified by the initials “RV” at the end of their gamertag. (12)Titans. Members of The Titans oversee ToG as a whole. The Titans handles all administrative issues pertaining to ToG including but not limited to ToG website services, ToG programs, and general marketing efforts. The Titans is also responsible for enforcing and revising the ToG Honor Code and ToG Regulations. The Titans has the power to demote or remove any Forerunner. However, the demotion or removal of a Forerunner by The Titans can be vetoed by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the remaining Forerunners. Similarly, the demotion or removal of a Forerunner by The Titans can be vetoed by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the remaining Forerunners. The Titans has the power to appoint ToG Staff as may be needed. The Titans also has the power to promote new members to The Titans. Any promotion to member of The Titans can be vetoed by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the remaining Forerunners. Each member of The Titans can be identified by the initials “TV” at the end of their gamertag. |
