Walk the Shore; The ocean hermit decided to come out for a leisurely stroll... Who shall brave the waters and join her?

The ocean.

Big, blue, marvelous.

Well, not just big. Massive.

Combined with the big blue sky, the blonde haired girl who moved along the shore wondered just how massive it might be. It looked unending at night, and during the daytime was absolutely stunning to this little creation.

How had the humans gotten so much water all in one place?

Pulling her torn and dirtied lab coat tightly about her shoulders, she stares at the horizon from her spot exactly forty paces from the edge of the water. Forty paces was reasonably safe, right? Just enough for her to not be close to the water, but for her to also be able to feel the spray from the wind... Even though it always made her more tired to feel it and made it harder for her to move afterwards.

After a moment, she stops in her pacing along only to turn and face the horizon-line more fully, crossing her arms slightly to stare evenly out across it, a contemplative look upon her face, as if she were curious of what lay on the other side. While she was, she was unable to really go see, for the spray from the ocean kept her in an almost constantly drained state and, since it was salt water, it made it a bit hard for her to get around. It didn't bother her, though. It kept her safe from whatever had destroyed her world.

For a while, she just keeps her deep azure gaze, barely flecked with any of the tell-tale lightning colored sparks in her eyes, even with the horizon, contemplating it's limits and just what exactly might lay on the other side, her blonde hair--curled due to the constant salty spray--swaying a bit in the gentle breeze.

The ocean. Home. At least, Myra's new home, after what'd happened in her parent's lab that one night. She still wishes she could figure out what the heck happened to her folks, but after so long living as what she'd become, she'd almost forgotten what they looked like.

At least she'd found a few things at her old home. It'd pretty much been her first stop after Cyborg had built her armor, and so she had a few things to remember her life before she'd become a tiger shark. But all of that she could forget when swimming through the ocean, just her swimsuit and her Titan comm, and the endless blue around her.

That'd be about the time she snapped her eyes open from having been swimming blind, just letting the currents take her places. She knew that feeling. She knew it rather well, after working with Keera on finding other supers in Shoan. Myra swims up, only the top of her head and her eyes peeking up over the water, looking at the beach and spotting someone. "I never thought I'd find a super on my off time... I gotta call this in."

The tiger shark quickly dives down, perhaps too quickly as her long shark tail breaks the water for a moment before it slips down into the waves with the rest of her. She pulls the titan comm off her utility belt and taps at it. "Shredder to Night Hawk. You're never going to believe what I just found. Grab a transport and get to my coordinates, spotted a super. No idea who but they're just standing on the beach. I'd say hi but you know, I don't have my armor."

When good and evil unite in pain,
Rivers of swords must join as one,
So shall the spiral be undone.

A young woman's voice came on over Myra's comm. "I'm on my way. Had to excuse myself from a meeting. We may need to explain it to Head Honcho himself when we get back. Whoops."

Keera clicked off her comm/radio as she piloted the small helicopter toward Myra's location. It was a tiny craft, big enough for Myra and one other passenger. It was a good thing the forest wasn't far from the ocean location.

"Do you have a visual?" Night Hawk asked as she glanced down at the mixture of trees and shoreline she saw below. She was nearing Myra's location, but she didn't want to bring the chopper directly overhead, in case their super in question got testy. It wasn't Brotherhood, or if it was, they weren't carrying a BoE communicator.

Night Hawk scanned the shore, looking for a place where the trees broke so she could land.

My only regret is... I will miss you."

The girl blinked.

What was that? A noise... she didn't know what to name it but it was a noise that didn't quite belong with the rest. And she saw something, too. The water went funny for a second and she thought she saw a.. tail? But that couldn't be right. In all her time watching the water, she'd not once seen something like that before. So strange.

She took care to blink quite a few times, as if by doing so the object might come into sight again, but when no such thing happens she just shakes her head some. "Must be seeing things..." She mutters quietly, giving a soft sigh and lowering her gaze. A year, though it felt like many more to her due to her rapid growth, had taken a toll on her. A full year of nothing but self-imposed seclusion, to avoid hurting those around her or giving some sort of signal to those who destroyed the only home she'd known that she was still alive, staying where she knew her energy would be kept tempered to avoid notice... It was rough on her, but she'd managed.

Maybe the silence was finally driving her mad, ruining the creation that had once been so perfect for what those scientists needed.

Rubbing her arms, she shivers and turns from the shore, instead meeting the opposite horizon with the same gaze she'd met the sky-ocean meeting place; contemplative and curious, but a bit wary as well. While she wondered what lay beyond that expanse she'd not yet dared to explore, she was not willing to risk being found. She was too dangerous, too naive and easily manipulated, and she knew it... So she just kept herself out of the politics of this world. So far she'd managed to keep herself un-found entirely.

So far.

She chews on her lower lip a little as she stares, thinking hard on what she could do. She could turn back to the ocean... She could walk into it and just end all of her worries and suffering. Or she could walk the opposite way, into the face of opportunity both for herself and those who might use her for evil purposes. To her it was like the analogy between life and truly living it; she could walk headfirst into her death, knowing fully what will happen to her. But on the other, she could walk headfirst into the unknown, braving it as so many others had--at least in all the stories she was told as a child.

Or she could do neither. For now she'd been happy with neither, but something in her was changing. The isolated girl wanted more... a bit of purpose...? Or maybe... maybe she just didn't know what she wanted. Eventually it would come, and she knew it.

Heaving a sigh, she rubbed at her arms slightly before lifting a hand to run her fingers through her slightly sticky, highly curly and tangled up hair, barely giving any sign that it hurt when she pulls at a particularly nasty knot or two.

"Yeah, I spotted her. She's just standing there. Or, she was, just a second." Myra moves rapidly back towards the surface with a whip of her tail, her head peeking out over the water again, barely visible. She floats, only her dorsal fin giving her away much, but then so close to the shore, one might expect to see a shark. "Yeah she's still there."

"Okay, Myra, you're gonna have to give me something to work with. Anyone we know? Gimme appearance. Eye color. Hair color. Height. Weight. Anything?"

Night Hawk grimaced as she pulled back on the controls, angling her aircraft toward a cliff that jutted against the shore. Looked like that was the only spot to land for a while. This was gonna be a tricky one.

"Hang on a sec. Meet you in a few." She switched it off again so she could focus on her piloting and not on chastising Myra for getting so excited with the find and not enough with the observational details.

There was that sound again... She is quick to whirl on the spot to see if she could catch it, but to no avail. Nothing to be seen at all, except... hang on...

What was that weird thing in the water? She narrows her eyes slightly and crosses her arms over her chest, gaze glaring warily at the dorsal fin that protruded from the water's surface, taking a half step back in preparation to flee should she need to. She'd never come across that sort of thing--never had she seen a shark before with how she rarely came to the shore anyways--so she is quite clueless of what it might be. Already she was attempting to pull up a current to amplify but it was difficult with the humidity in the air, and so after a minute of attempting to get a good charge going she gives up and instead better prepares to flee to the safety of her little cave, taking a step back and in it's direction. That step is followed closely by another, and another, and so on and so forth until she is walking slowly towards her little 'home', never once allowing her gaze to deviate from the weird object so close to the shore.

Myra glances down at her comm as Keera goes quiet, only to spot the girl walking backwards. Great, she'd been spotted. She slowly lets herself sink into the water, before she swims closer. She could get fairly close to the shore without being visible, she just hadn't been as cautious as she should have been. Life on the front lines and all.

"I'd love to give you her life story but the thing is, I'm the only thing out here, and if I can see her she can see me. And she did. Get here quick Night Hawk she's leaving my effective area. Blue eyes, almost five feet tall, yellow hair. Not blond, yellow, like lightning."

Night Hawk had a little difficulty in landing the helicopter, but not as much as she'd expected. "All right, all right. I'm on my way."

As soon as the helicopter was safely on ground, Keera powered down the rotors and took to the air with a running start... one graceful leap off the cliff and she was soaring in the skies herself.

As of now, she had her hair tied back in a bun, which kept it from flying in the breeze. Her voice-altering mask was also in place. She still had no idea whether this super was a Brother or not... though the absence of any other backup seemed to indicate she was a neutral. Brothers typically didn't walk around on their own. It was still a war for them, too, even though they were winning.

Keera glanced between Myra's signal on her comm and the waters down below. Right now she was still way too far down the beach to see anyone... except a speck near an outcropping of rocks on the shore. Could that be their target?

Keera landed on the sandy shore and glanced around for a place to stow her mask. No need to look like a super hero, whether this girl was Brotherhood or not. She finally chucked it beneath a scraggly bush stuck halfway in the sand before strolling down the shore with her hands in her hoodie pockets. Her gun was stashed just under her pants' waistband. Again, no sense in looking like a hero and screaming to the world, "HERE I AM. COME GET ME, BROTHERHOOD."

The girl seemed to only grow warier as the fin vanished beneath the gentle caress of waves, her pace a bit more hurried as she attempted to make it to her safe haven, her cave.

Home.

If such a barren thing could be considered a home at all. It was devoid of any sign of life except that it was also devoid of cobwebs and dust that would normally be seen in an abandoned structure such as that. Sure she had a few pieces of metal that had somehow made it through the atmosphere with her so long ago, but most if not all had rusted from time and the salty air. None were even semi-useful anymore, so she'd ditched them long ago to the very back of the cavernous space she called a home.

As soon as the fin ducked out of sight, she gulped and hesitated on the spot. If the fin was gone, was she then safe...? Was it just some creature from this place she did not yet know about? Probably. She releases a breath that she hadn't realized she'd been holding the whole time, and after a minute more or so she began to even relax slightly, shaking her head. "Magnet, you're so stupid for even feeling like that..." She mutters, scolding herself for being so jumpy as to be scared by something that clearly could not get to her.

She really needed to relax some.
