believe it or not, but watching dramas relieve my stress. (but should be on cds or dvds, otherwise, i'll be more stress with all the ads)

i like the "heavy drama" more, coz crying helps me pour out all the bad feelings inside me. (weird?)

Me too! I left 1 litre of tears for ages until i actually felt like crying and started watching to relieve myself of my tears properly.
And yep watching dramas during your exam period actually helps!!! Ahahaha or so i keep telling myself! I ended up watching ko one instead of studying for my maths exam last yr and somehow i ended up getting 82 overall for maths =P

Lols depends on what type of dramas you're into:
For romance/comedies: full house, goong, coffee prince, my girl, under the canopy of love [these are rly good especially if you love seeing sweet moments ^^]
For something to cry to: 1 litre of tears!!!
For something to laugh at non-stop: KO ONE!, hana kimi [both jap and tw version], super junior full house [actually practically any super junior show will make u laugh ur head off EXCEPT mystery 6 ><"]
Ahaha there's heaps of dramas i love but can't think of what category to put them in: hana yori dango, liar game [zomg this one is a MUST WATCH!!!!], war of the inlaws...
Ahaha mental blank now...too many dramas...i'll come bak and recommend more later~

Huh?

Ooh.. I'm the same when it comes to stress. That's probably how I started watching it like crazy.. but trust me, it's a bad idea to get addicted junior year >_<

But.. I don't normally cry watching dramas. It takes something REALLY sad and depressing to make me cry.

Omigosh.. Super Junior's shows made me laugh SOOOO hard. They're freakin hilarious!!

I know!!!! And it's the worst thing to be watching ANY super junior shows at like 1am at night because u have to hold in your laughter!!! My sister and I kept getting yelled at because we were laughing so loudly and she was trying to sleep!!!
Zomg i cry so easily ><" its kind of pathetic =.=' I can read something and i'll make me cry...let alone watching it!

naa, I'm opposite. When I'm down I need something light and funny to get away from my moods.

Yoli - I'm like you, I don't cry easily, and it has to be something extraordinary to make me cry. And since I hate crying, I just stay away from these kind of shows. (lol) ... so I've never watched 1 litre of tears...
But yea, KO one, Hana Kimi, Coffee Prince are a must...
also I would recommend a few more:
K-dramas: Dal Ja's Spring and Thank You.
J-dramas: First Kiss, Remote
T-dramas: Corner with Love and Rock, Paper, Scissors aka A Game About Love. ^_^

- fangirl, genius for the things that don't matter, member of the Pervvy Minds association, editor -

japanese dramas rule and they are the number one and will always stay number one!

they are, first of all, short - which makes me sad because they end kinda quickly but when i remember tw dramas and the drag which annoys the hell out of me, i'm glad. the plot is usually simple, nice, well played and pretty convincing, which is a lot more then i can say for tw dramas(and their repetitive plots ><). the actors are usually good and they portray their characters well which is also a very nice supplement to the whole package. the only thing i really don't like is the intimate scenes like kissing and hugging which often(actually, very very often) look completely fake ><. but i understand that they are shy people who don't really express their feelings in such a way in real life, let alone in a drama. also, there is the sad end percentage which bothers me every time i see a possibly good drama. a lot of their dramas have sad endings and i don't like them. for as long as i know, my saying was: why watch sad, depressing and disturbing things in your free time when you have them all around you every other minute of the day? and i stand by that even now because i really want to watch happy ending dramas and light myself up a little. however, i like sad dramas as well, if they are nicely made and have an actual purpose, other then making the viewers sad. i just don't like watching them often - twice a year is more then enough ><.
i like korean and tw dramas as well...but a lot less then japanese as they make the most of my finished dramas list.

thank you very much, i'm gonna go and eat my choco now.

bye!

edit: uh, yeh recommendations:

japanese: tatta hitotsu no koi(MUST WATCH - RUN AND WATCH!), hana yori dango, hana yori dango II, hanazakari no kimitachi e, KUROSAGI(but dun watch the movie - it's a total disappointment ><), proposal daisakusen, hotaru no hikari, good luck!, nodame cantabile, sapuri, first kiss, 1 pound gospel(still watching this one but it's sooo goood =)))

korean: my girl, coffee prince and goong

tw: sweet relationship, smiling pasta, devil beside you

see what i mean? jap RULE!

ah, vous dirais-je

Well, it also depends on what language you like the best. There are good ones in each genre.

To add some good ones to the tw list off the top of my head, there's Wish to See You Again, Meteor Garden (I, NOT II), Miss No Good (still airing), It Started with a Kiss (I and II), Hana Kimi (a.k.a. Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu, it’s Chinese title)

And to Japanese, definitely Code Blue.

Personally, I like Japanese and Taiwanese the most.
