Besides Asian dramas, Anime is my second most favorite addiction. Ooo, Fruit Basket - one of my favorites too  I've watched a lot, some of the ones I liked: Rurouni Kenshin, Gundam Wing, Full Metal Alchemist, Hikaru No Go, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Flames of Recca, Initial D... and shojo: Ayashi no Ceres, Fushigi Yuugi, Marmalade Boy, His and Her Circumstances, Boys Be, Hana Yori Dango, Kimagure Orange Road, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien...  ...Ranma 1/2 (so long and repetitive I don't know how I finished it, and the ending sucks!)  |

The ones i am watching now are those short 10-20+ episodes per season.

Everyone loves Anime! LOL KandySakura, your list is as long as mine... I really do need to find more recent shows... I like Shojo but also like Action like Blood+... anything with Vampires in it too! LOL My all time favorite dream is for Vampire Knight to be made into an Anime. I faithfully read the manga! Oh Crimson Hero would be another great Anime too!! |

recent anime huh? the ones i always watched usually end up with more than one season, or at least with more than 100 epis! xD the longest one im watching now, Detective Conan, has 700+ epis! and im only up to 180 something... and for vampire anime... trinity blood was really good! slightly confusing, but really good! well, from the few episodes i saw of it anyways! xD |

i don't quite remember all of them(i do have a manga and a drama list but not an anime list) but the ones i do remember would be: fruit basket(read the manga because the anime didn't end....at all-cuz it would be a crime to call that an ending) ouran high school host club(read the manga because i didn't like the ending of the anime) i watched others but these are the only ones worth remembering and right now, the only anime i'm watching is detective conan and it's awesome remembered: inuyasha(didn't finish) tsubasa chronicles(also didn't finish-it was boring) La Corda D'Oro(also, didn't finish-the long haired guy started to freak me out) Edited by dora0chan, Feb 2 2008, 11:38 PM.

I normally get my anime off friends...I only download sailor moon =P But as for Princess Tutu - I have the original boxset ^^ but it was like A$70 ><" Otherwise if I could be bothered, I'd download them all~ I hate buying them on dvd and then the English subs are terrible =.=' thank gods Princess Tutu wasn't like that...probably because it was an original |

Like my friend downloaded the 1 Litre of Tears Special, softsubbed and then gave it to me and omg instead of sitting there watching, I sat there and edited it instead! lol, yeeh. you see, it's not only japanese-english, it's english-croatian as well, in my case anyway. THANK GOD i understand english and can watch shows and movies without the subs cuz if i couldn't, i'd be dead. seriously, the people that translate from english to croatian can't speak croatian properly, let alone english so what do you expect.  it just irritates me so much that i end up correcting the constant mistakes instead of watching the movie - my family members find that annoying but it's not my fault...entirely, anyway  what to say? oh, and i just remembered, once they translated xie xie ni as peanuts(kikiriki in my language) - it was a jackie chan movie, with chris tucker as well and there was this scene in the airplane where a stewardess gave chris some peanuts and he said xie xie ni and the subs said: kikiriki >< >< >< seriously >< >< *dies*

Haha, so off topic now. To add my own two cents, I don't really suffer from this, 'cuz I watch almost all fansubbed stuff (considering I'm more a manga person than an anime, and I'm not too big into reading scanlations). I only get annoyed when they translate stuff wrong into Chinese (when I'm watching American/other movies on tudou), and get the entire mood off. |

i'm happy to see that a lot of you got into subbing for the same reasons i did  now, to answer the forum topic, i'm currently watching happy boys [subbing work], lovers, first kiss, gokusen 3, rookies, shinigami no ballad and Witch Yoo Hee. Anime-wise, I'm watching Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Avatar, Fruits Basket and Naruto.OT: I need to watch more Korean dramas so I can practice that language. My boss might [crosses fingers and toes] bring me with him to Korea. So I'm up for suggestions!

wow, how can you remember all the things you've ever seen? I am absolutely not up-to-date concerning my dramas and animes^^ But my list should also be very long... maybe I'll make one someday, who knows... right now I'm watching The Devil, They Kiss Again, Romantic Princess, Abarenbo Mama, Change, Gokusen 3, Hokaben, Puzzle (2008) and Zettai Kareshi<3 btw has anyone seen the anime Paradise Kiss? @yobebi: wow, korea is a really beautiful country! It would be really nice if you could go there =) I didn't watch many korean dramas, but one I really liked was Full House. It's a funny love story. If you're out for a sad one, you should try A Love To Kill! They both star rain^^ Oh, and not to forget the classic kdrama - Goong, it's sooo good

Hehehe, Sethy, I remember almost everything I've watched. Sadly, right now I don't have time to watch anime, or drama... so I'm pretty much watching only what I'm subbing (lol)... But it makes a pretty impressive list: Rookies, Mop Girl, Binbo Danshi, Ii Hito (just finished), Bull Fighting, Love Storm, Mean Girl Ah Chu, Wish to See You Again (by the way highly recommend!! very funny so far), Express Boy, Gokudou (hopefully we'll get back to continue subbing it )I haven't seen Paradise Kiss, but I've heard it's a fun story... |
