Posts: 210 Group: Project Leader Member #45 Joined: Jan 15, 2008	Hey everyone, Massuki Fansubs is doing One Pound Gospel and I'm in their subbing team. We've finished timing and translating Episode 1 on Sunday and it seems like it's going to be a great drama. Get ready for a release on Wed/Thurs EST. Tell me what you think about the drama. I love it.

I know~~~ It looks so tasty! Omg, why can't the japanese food here look as good as that?!?! Yap! I'm from Massuki Fansubs, and we're committed to deliver the subs by Wednesday or Thursday EST. We worked round the clock on Sunday and Monday just to make that happen for Episode 1 (which was tough to do btw due to the multiple people talking at the same time). Hehe, and lots of "interesting" frame stills when we were subbing too. We had fun. :P (ahem, nipples, leg hair, etc) LOL!

I've heard good things about, and hopefully it turns out to be a good series. Regardless, I always appreciate the hard work that fansubbers do for us. Arigato!

Kames acting skills improved sooo much. he wasn´t so great in Nobuta, but in this dorama he apictured the chara very natural. and he acts so ... yeah, great. the fast speaking, the gestures, the fast changing of expressions. like in when he says "sister told me "ganbare" so i will do my best". and sister angela is soooo pretty. muahahaha!! My boss My hero had 2 cameo- roles her. the song about the youth- superhero and isn´t the director of the covent the school- doctor in MBMH ? ^^ crying kame ... moh, i felt sry for him, when he cried "i was dumped".^^ but he actually was fast making a move on her. very unusual for japanese gg Edited by kirakira, Jan 22 2008, 02:25 AM.

Deleted User	hehe i totally loved the first episode, i watched it twice and the second time was with my best friend who totally isn't in to japan and stuff, but i made her watch it and she really enjoyed it! i love kame in this, he's so adorable and yamada ryosuke!! when he came on the screen i totally yelled "kawaii~" everytime. thanks for the subs, they rock and i can't wait for tuesday!

Episode 02 just left my hands and it's already in QC. The script looks pretty much final, so all that needs to be done is probably just some changes to the words, that's about it. There's a very high chance that it'll be a Tuesday evening release, if not then a Wednesday morning release (EST). This is the fastest we've every done. Wow, we broke our own record if that happens.

Kame became such an actors. the boxer is faaaar away from Kiritani Shuji congrats kame^^) i watched epi.2 two days ago. Kame was LUV here. Sistaaaaaaaaaaa Angela! Angela! Angela! Angela! Angela! Angela! Member Posts: 55 Group: Retired Staff Member #77 Joined: Jan 16, 2008	ahh! i just watched both epi 1 and 2 after reading this topic! and i love this drama already! i was suprised to see that girl (sister Angela) in the drama. i thought she only modelled for JJ mag. (so pretty~) kame is too funny in this one. kinda different from all the other roles ive seen him do. usually the cool type, but he does the fun character this time. ryo is too cute! even tho he only appears on screen for like a minute every 3 or 4 scenes to discourage kame, or to make a "wuts a nun doing here" comment, im still so happy that hes in another drama! cant wait to see the next epi~!

Hopefully for all the foods he ate it, he can at least gain more weigh rather than this slim body by the end of this drama...

wanderlust extraordinaire Posts: 133 Group: Staff Member #332 Joined: Apr 23, 2008	As much as I love Kame, I thought that he wouldn't be able to do justice to this role coz he's just so skinny But after watching the first episode, I was surprised by his portrayal of Kousaku. He really did a good job here. It was refreshing to see him in a comedy role. This is surely one of my favorite jdramas ever.
