Jat Top was a Ravenclaw boy with short spiky blonde hair and blue eyes. He went to Hogwarts, like everyone else, and had made many friends, some in each house. Then there was Jen Top, a Death Eater. He had shoulder-length dark brown hair and green eyes. Were the two related? No, they were the same person. Jat, whose real name was Jen, was a metamorphagus. He could change his appearance at will, and he did so frequently. Voldemort had found him as a young boy to recruit him into his ranks. He had already been taught how to be cruel and malicious by his parents, but for Voldemorts use, they taught him how to manipulate people so that he could be friends with more people. Jen had been taught a lot, including very dark magic. He became Voldemort's right-hand man very fast, which the other Death Eaters hated, but they were scared of him as well.

So, here Jen was, sitting on his knees before the fire in the Ravenclaw Common Room. He was wearing his blue Ravenclaw uniform even though he had on the 'DE Face' as he called it. He had woken up almost five hours ago, but he had skirted everyone, worried as to what had happened. He had actually almost been caught in the fourth floor corridor by the snot-nosed Malfoy brat. Jen didn't particularly like the sniveling little brat, but he pretended to and had made friends with him and some of his posse. He did find an attraction to the Porter girl, but he'd never acted upon it. He had made his way past everyone to the ruined Ravenclaw Common Room where he'd been spending the last few hours up in his room. He had had to move rubble around before he could reach his own things, but finally he had, even lain on his bed. He had figured no one would bother him there as he contemplated what to do and how he should act. Finally, he had remembered his floo powder he had hidden away.

Jen, still looking like the Ravenclaw Jat, had wondered downstairs, taken his time to clear the rubble away from the fireplace, and started a fire. Then he had taken off his robes, folding them neat to sit them on the couch behind him, and his tie so that he was just wearing his white dress shirt and black slacks that were now both dirty. He tried dusting himself off a little bit but stopped when he found he was just making it worse. That's when he closed his eyes with a deep breath and changed his face to the DE one. And now he was kneeling before the raging fire. He was worried at what he would find as he grabbed a pinch of floo powder. He tossed it in and watched the flames turn green before he dared to put his head in, after all magic didn't always seem to work for some reason.

Jen had gone to the Dark Lord's main place. "Dark Lord?" He had asked, but no one was there. He then tried numerous places to see if any of the Death Eaters could be located. Nothing. With a last-ditch effort, Jen floo called to the ministry. No one was anywhere to be found that he could see. He took a deep breath as he sat back on his heels, tucking the pouch of floo powder away. He leaned back against the couch as he watched the flames, his thoughts swirling. He made a clicking noise for a moment before running a hand through his hair. He was just standing up, turning his face back into that of Jat at the same time, when he caught sight of someone standing near the entrance, watching him. "Ah, shit." He murmured to himself, softly.

"Are you serious right now?" Stella Montague practically screamed from the doorway. She honestly could never remember having a conversation with Jat Top before in her life, but the sight of another housemate brought tears of joy to her eyes. "Another Ravenclaw!" She smoothed her hair down, thinking about how strange it was that no one had mentioned there had been another Ravenclaw, or that they had even seen him at all. But now was not the time for thinking rationally at all.

She had barely seen him stand up from the fire place when she came in from her place of wallowing to survey the damage that had happened to the beloved room. Stella had practically grown up here; she and Padma had spent many a nights every year laying on the couches and telling secrets about boys, and gossiping late in to the night. To see it so destroyed wretched her heart a little bit. Stella hugged her arms around herself, trying to keep the emotions of losing the past from exploding inside of her. She would have to focus all of her attention on the new addition to the survivors, and someone who she could probably relate to, even just a little bit.

"How long have you been here?" She asked animatedly, her hands seeming to have a life of their own as they moved rapidly in front of her to contain her excitement. "Have you seen any other Ravenclaws?" If he mentioned Padma, Stella was sure she would have a sudden cardiac arrest and die, but there was no reason to get her hopes up. Even Luna Lovegood wasn't here, and she was the type who would have been planning for a situation like this from the very beginning.

Jat watched the girl with a guilty look on his face. He glanced down at his robes and figured that he probably didn't have to use them, anymore. He cleared his throat as he looked back up at the Stella girl. At least that was what he thought the girl's name was. He'd never paid much attention to her, but now he was worried that she might have seen too much. "Hey. It's Stella, right? Stella..." He furrowed his brow in thought. "Monta-something." He paused looking her over. "I'm glad you're okay. I just woke up a few hours ago. I couldn't bear to talk to anyone at this point in time..." He looked down, sheepishly. He thought that if only he could draw her into the room a little more then he'd have her in his clutches.

Speaking of the room, Jat glanced around knowing what a mess it was. "I wanted to come here first. I mean... this is home." He said the last bit softly with a shrug of his shoulders. He did feel sad about their home, but he couldn't bring himself to really be sad. He was more scared that everyone was gone, instead. He swallowed before he continued. "I couldn't bare to see it such a mess, so I cleaned it up a little and made a fire, hoping to make it more like... like before." He turned to face the fire this time. "I haven't seen anyone until you came along and found me..." He trailed off, trying to sound sad.

"Stella Montague," She said, looking at him curiously. It was strange he didn't know her name, because usually it wasn't hard to memorize the names of fellow sixth years, as there really weren't that many in the school. But, she supposed she never really payed that much attention to him either, in fact, she only knew his name, House and year. Not an admirable feat at all. She moved closer in to the room, wondering why he seemed so flustered at her appearance, despite the fact his overall demeanor was almost hopeless. "Really? You weren't curious at all about how many people survived?" Her eyes widened at this realization. "Not one bit?"

"I didn't want to see it at all. I don't know why you would want to come here." Her voice wavered a bit, as she tried to keep her emotions from overboiling. She was so tired of trying to be strong and brave over her lost friends. Stella's gaze focused on the ceiling, an attempt to stay calm under the sudden change that had been imposed on her. "Do you think we are the only Ravenclaws? Everyone else I've met is a Gryffindor or a Slytherin."

Stella had stepped further into the room and Jat's whole demeanor changed. He imagined that if he were looking at himself he would look strong, arrogant, mean, and evil. Jat strode, purposefully, over to Stella and grabbed her arm. He tried to be gentle even though he felt anger boiling through his skin. He pulled her closer to him and wrapped his arms around her to pin her there. He, mostly, just didn't want her running off. "You saw what I was doing, you saw me, didn't you?" He asked, holding her tightly, glancing around for a couch. There was one behind them. He picked her up and sat her on the couch, taking a step back but in a way that blocked her from the exit.

Jat watched the girl, unsure what to do with her as he ran a hand through his spiky blonde hair, a sigh escaping his lips. He felt like a fool as he thought about the fact that she really might not have seen or heard anything, but he knew he couldn't take that chance. He'd have to scare the shit out of her because magic wasn't working enough to trust it to wipe her memory, and he was sure someone would ask about her or try to find her if she ended up missing, even if all he did was tie her up or something. He sighed in frustration, unsure what to do about the new turn of events.

"..What are you doing?" Stella's eyes grew big as he came closer and grabbed her. His arms encircled her, and her relief at finding a fellow Ravenclaw disappeared and was replaced with an unfathomable terror, and she almost started crying as her feet left the ground and she was forcibly placed on the couch where she had spent hours studying every week. "I don't even know what you are talking about. Are you crazy?" Stella's eyes quickly ran over the room, analyzing a way to escape from this situation and find help. Something was seriously wrong with Jat Top.

"People know I'm here, you know. So if you are stupid enough to try something, you are going to end up dying." Because magic was so unreliable, she couldn't trust that any spell she casted would work. However, Stella realized there was the Muggle way of doing things, involving physical violence and a show of strength she lacked. "You'll be in so much trouble."

Jat smiled. "They know you are, but they don't know I am." He paused, gazing at her with a calm look. "If you really don't know then this little... chat wont mean anything to you, except maybe scare you a little." He smiled. "After all, there isn't a way out unless I let you out. So, what did you see?" He asked, calmly, his wand now in his hand, rolling back and forth between his fingers. He didn't care how little magic worked, anymore. He would still use it if he really needed. And something about this girl made him think he really would need it.

(Sorry, WB, will spice it up next post, tho. ^^)

"Are you insane?" Stella shook her head, standing up from the couch where she had been placed, and drew her own wand to protect herself. "Don't you think I'll tell them? You couldn't possibly be that stupid- you're in Ravenclaw, for Merlin's sake."

Twirling her wand around, she aimed it in his direction, ready to fight him off if he tried to harm her. Stella had never actually fought in a duel before, as she was not interested in Lockhart's club when he taught, but she was ready for whatever the boy threw at her. "I can leave if I feel like it. And I didn't see anything. I saw you, standing up from the fire place like a normal person, and then you flipped on me. That's what I saw."

Jat watched the girl, calmly, a smile creeping onto his face. "Why yes, yes I am insane." He answered matter-o-factly. He couldn't seem to figure out why, but he just didn't believe this girl. He had a desire to shove her back down onto the couch, but something told him not to. Not yet, at least. "You said there are only Gryffindors and Slytherins here at the moment. How many of them know you? Who would they believe?" He smirked. He was sure out of the group, even though he didn't know who all was here, one of his friends would be there to stick up for him, not that he figured it would happen.

"So now you're going to draw your wand on me?" Jat asked, grinning. "Even if magic was working properly, you'd never get in a shot," He stepped closer to her. "I've been through many battles, both with and without a wand. Just to keep me prepared." He reached forward to touch her cheek. He was thinking about things to scare her.

"A lot of them 'know' me. And I'm almost positive they'd believe me over you. I think I'm more trustworthy than you are, since they don't even know you are here. Isn't that a little sketchy?" Her lips curled upwards in to a smirk, with her wand held firmly in her hand, trying to show him that she really wasn't afraid. Would she defend herself? Of course, because there was no way Stella was going to let him scare her off with his freakish behavior and taunting words.

"You drew first. Besides, wands are useful for other things too," She was devising a plan as they stood there, trying to figure out if it would be good to jab him with it and risk breaking the nearly useless piece of wood or to simply distract him with a creative swish. "Am I supposed to be scared? If so, you are failing miserably." Stella swatted his hand away without giving it a second thought. She was not simply going to allow him to bully her in to whatever he was planning. "You know, you are actually convincing me I did see something. Oh, yes... I think my memory is coming back now.." She tapped her chin, her smirk still in place as she taunted him with her lies.

Jat tucked his wand away once more before he dusted off his hands as if he had dirtied them. He wasn't concerned with her comments about everyone knowing her. He remembered how much time she had spent, alone, in the library. He didn't think he could ever remember her hanging out with anyone in a friend way, even though he was sure she had friends. He was a slight bit worried by the fact that he didn't know who her friends were, but he shrugged it off as he watched her. He realized that there was something about the girl that was alluring as he found himself wishing to do something he was sure he wouldn't be able to get away with.

Stella's comment about seeing something, although it was done in a taunting manner that suggested she really hadn't seen anything, sent Jat over the edge. He lunged forwards, grabbing her by the wrists. They both toppled backwards onto the couch as he pinned her down. He leaned down and whispered, "Your taunting put you in a bad position. Now I want you." He bit her neck, softly before he pulled back to look into her eyes. He was resisting his urge to bite her hard, leave bruises on her, or other things he expected she wouldn't like as he continued to pin her to the couch by her wrists.

When Jat's wand disappeared, Stella felt the warm feeling of relief rush over her. That had to mean he was giving up his scare tactics. As she glared at him some more to hopefully intimidate him back, Stella wondered if she had ever seen the boy really around. Of course, she knew who he was, but she couldn't exactly recall a place or people who he had ever been with. In fact, she was fairly certain he hadn't existed as a person to her until now. "You are such a psychopath. How did you ever end up staying out of Azkaban?" She started to make fun of him some more, when he came at her, and they fell backwards.

As the world turned upside down, Stella wondered what she had done to deserve this hell. She had never gotten detention, always did her homework, drank her eight glasses of water a day... And now she was being attacked in her own semi-home. "Why the fuck?" She cursed as he continued to be a freak. Remembering her plan, she realized that while her hands were pinned down, her legs were free. Swiftly, she lifted her knee, and nailed him hard in the stomach, hoping it would give her enough time to get away from this weirdo.

Jen crumpled, his hands leaving her wrists, as he fell onto her, gasping for air. Even as small as she looked, she was strong. He gasped for breath as he pushed himself up into a standing position. He stumbled before he caught his balance once more. "Azkaban has never found me." He replied, smugly. He positioned himself so that he could catch her if she tried to run. "You caught me off guard that time, but you wont again." He told her in a deadly voice. "I'm going to hear you scream before we leave this room." He told her matter-o-factly as he watched her. He really did want to hear her scream. He considered more. After all, they were both alone in the Ravenclaw Common Room. No one would be looking for him, and they wouldn't look for her for a while. He was sure he could get away with it. A smirk appeared on his lips as those thoughts ran through his mind.
