For all you people that actually want to know about us, you've found the best spot to come! Each staff member has the option to have a thread in here where you can just ask questions to them. They do NOT have to have a thread and they also do NOT have to answer your question(s), if they deem them unappropriate or they are uncomfortable giving out that information.

Have a character that you want approved? Well, then, you have found the right place to visit! Simply make a thread with your application in here. You can also claim your face and make your case for canon characters, special characters (werewolves, vampires, metamorphmagi, animagi, etc.), and titles (head of house, deputy headmaster/headmistress, prefect, head boy/girl, house ghost). You must finish this in order to gain access to the rest of the board.

We'll keep tabs of all of the approved characters in this forum.

Ah, Famous Wizard/Witch Cards... Well, we have to decide them some way. Come and see our plan for these little awards.

Large and Elegant, anyone is lucky to witness the Palace of Beauxbatons first hand. Made of ivory bricks, the school certainly fits its name. The classrooms are large and luxurious, with tables and comfortable chairs to sit in rather than desks. Unlike most other wizarding schools, Beauxbatons doesn't really have any dungeons. There is an area of the school that is below ground, but it is so light and airy, nobody could mistake it for a dungeon.

Even though they are located within the palace, we thought it would be nice to have a separate area for the houses.

While the classes take place in the castle and on the grounds of Beauxbatons, we thought it would be best to have a separate area for all of the classes to be held. Each class will have its own forum which will be run by its teacher. Go figure.

The Grounds of Beauxbatons are the smallest of the three main wizarding schools of Europe. They are, however, more than sufficient. Right on the sea, the school has a large private beach for the inhabitants of the Palace and there is a nearby wooded area and, of course, Beauxbatons has a quidditch pitch in a clearing right past the beginning of the trees.

Quite small, only four stories in height, the Durmstrang castle is dark and dismal at first sight. Inside, the staff has done what it can to cheer it up. There's only so much that can be done to lighten the atmosphere of the place, when the sun is hardly around in the winter.

The grounds of Durmstrang are the largest of any school's in the world. Mostly wooded areas, the grounds are littered with mountains and caves, rivers and lakes, clearings and areas so thick you couldn't even dream of getting into them. The area directly around the castle, for maybe 500 meters is all cleared out, and there is a Quidditch Pitch right past that to the north.

Hogwarts Castle resides on a cliff over the lake. Made of large blocks of limestone, the building is huge and imposing, the castle is breath-taking when people first see it, and for many, for a while after that too. Seven stories tall, not including dungeons and towers, it may take a while to figure out the location of everything within its walls.

The grounds are rather extensive. A massive forest covers much of the east side of the grounds, and is, of course teeming with creatures, and thus, students are prohibited from entering, for their own safety. A huge lake, home to a giant squid and a colony of merfolk, makes up the southern end. There's a Quidditch Pitch on the West and loads of room besides that!

Hogsmeade is the only all-wizard village in Great Britain. According to tradition, the village was founded over a thousand years ago by Hengst the Woodcroft, whom was fleeing persecution by muggles. Hogsmeade is a picturesque little village of thatched cottages and shops that would be welcoming to anyone.

Diagon Alley is the premiere shopping destination for witches and wizards in England. Located in London, out of sight of muggles, of course, it is a long cobbled street where one can find a strange and exciting variety of shops and restaurants.

This forum is for any and all houses. If you wish to visit the Burrow, or Malfoy Manor, or just want to have your own house, well, you know where to visit!

International Cooperation is a theme of this board, is it not? We thought it would be nice to have an area for your character to have a pen-pal, AKA a character from another school.

Smaller, and newer, than Hogwarts, Beauxbatons sits on the Mediterranean coast of France. The building itself is large and beautiful, it's ivory brick facade shining elegantly in the sun.

Located in Northern Europe, the Durmstrang castle is, by far, the smallest of the three main European wizarding schools. It only reaches four stories in height, but what it lacks in castle space, it more than makes up for in grounds. The campus of Durmstrang is the largest of any wizarding school in the world.

Located in Scotland, Hogwarts Castle is large and awes everyone at first sight. Within walking distance of the only all-wizard town in Great Britain, Hogsmeade, Hogwarts not only has a large castle, but expansive grounds that would take weeks to fully discover and you can never truly discover all of Hogwarts secrets.

Anything that you want to act out that didn't happen at one of the schools can be placed in here. This area may expand into more forums at a later date.

It's time to show the world your character's favorite memory. We all can use the understanding of each other's characters, no?

Each member is welcome to have a thread in here where they act out their worst memory. It might make it easier for other members to understand your character, and it may just make you understand your character a bit better as well!

Each member is welcome to take out a journal. The journal will be visible to all members, so that you can all understand each other's characters better, but it is assumed that you can all keep your vast knowledge to yourself and not go blabbing about what you read in the journal in any of the RPG threads!
