Ladies and gents, We are close to confirming one or two dates for an open day. This will give returning players and new players interested in American Football a chance to train together. This will also be the first full session run by new HC Lindsey. The two options are 5th and/or 12th of December, so please keep those dates free. Time: 10am to 1pm OR 12pm to 3pm ?? We intend to hire the 3G Astro Turf, but in order to fund this we may be charging a small amount (£2 for over 18's and £1 for under 18's) All details will be confirmed early next week, but your feedback is welcome. Would you be interested in having some food arranged for after the session at WRC ?? |

I would prefer 12 - 3. The idea of food could be a good one, give the chance for prospective players to meet current players/coaches etc |

Destroyers have a game on both days so can't make it. If you're getting the 3G, I doubt many people will head to the Rugby club after. I'd imagine most people would go straight home. I think I would. Especially if I was cold and wet. |

The 12th is better for me, although I can do both dates. |

are we advertising this? or doing any recruitment before? I would have people handing out flyers in the main city's of the area in full kit. Ignore this if there is some promo campaign already going on. I aslo think having both dates would be good. It might be an idea to start Sunday trainings from then onwards - but I'm just missing football Edited by AdamCleaver, Nov 14 2010, 10:21 AM.

also (I don't think so) but would it be beneficial to have this on a saturday so that some uni players can pop down and get a feel for the team? |

adam, i've got a hand in on the promotions but we need more people to want to be involved so send me some ideas or let me know what you can do towards the cause.. that goes to everyone as well if we get some stuff handed out in winch, andover, basingstoke, southampton and portsmouth.. and anywhere else where players are from. |
