Until the new website gets up and running, I have been working on getting this one updated. There are stats on the stats page, there are fixtures on the fixture page, and there are game reports on the game reports page. There are even Youth stats now. I will try to keep up with these the best i can as the season goes. I don't have the game 3 stats yet so I can't include them but just wanted to update everyone so they know. |

Basically, as soon as we get the details from Neil Loveless I can dump his site template and start on something brand new. That is a reproduction of a tried and tested team site. Neil's seems like it was a year in the making to add a few pictures. The aim of the new site is to have the following: Training / Game schedule, automatically driven off a database so it is always up to date Current and archive news Player profiles with a profile 'mug shot' and action shot Sortable dynamic stats Game Reports Div 2 team / venue location finder and Thrasher venue details. Nearly all of it runs of a mySQL database so even people without web devlopment knowledge can help out with some of the features if they can use Excel. The only thing I don't want to include is media because of the pain in the ass it takes in referencing it and keeping it maintained. It would be better to use facebook for this. |
