OOC- Your encounter with the king was shorter than I thought. Oh well... there will still be a massive battle. IC- After leaving the building, it appears that you are still in the force-feild. A little ways away, a massive snake is laying atop of it, which is apparantly dome-shaped. It is sandy-colored, with a row of spines on its back, along with a huge rattle on its tail. The force-feild is like a clear wall, and not a repelling force, other than its intangible existance to sentient creatures. |

OOC: massive battle... that might not happen, remember the Death Callers are here only for personal gain and have an "extreme almost-any-scinario backup plan" to stop most large dangers. Arnor, inquisitive walks up to part of the invisible wall (where it's DEFINATELY safe on the other side) and prods it with his cross bow. |

OOC- Oh well. IC- To anything sentient, it may as well not be there. The bow simply goes through it. The snake rattles its tail and hisses. It is at least seven meters long! |

Arnor, ever inquisitive, throws a rock at it, a rock isn't sentient, neither was his backpack when he walked in but that got though. Marvok, looks at the snake "what is that thing?" he studies it to see if he knows what it is after seeing if the map has new advice. |

OOC- I don't have it up on the site yet, but it is a rare species, called the sand snake. It is non-venemous, but its massive size and power makes it extremely dangerous, especially when coupled with its ability to move through the sand like a fish though water. IC- The creature rattles its tail and attempts to snap at Marvok, but merely bruises its face. The pebble goes through, but, as Arnor notices a small rodent scurries through the sand, carrying a piece of metal, pobably because of its shiny appearance, and ends up smacking its face into the wall. the metal doesn't go though, either. The creature continues to scurry up the wall, only to be snatched up by the snake. The spell that created this must have taken a huge amount of mana and skill. |

Arnor begins thinking that if a small portable version could be created it would be the best defence ever known, one could fire out and be completely invincible from dangers of the wild. As he drifts off into a dream like state of design he is called upon by the other members of the group already far down the tunnel, Arnor examines Sherman, he wasn't "sentient" in the way dwarfs or humans were, it must be possible for one to "transport" items and non-sentients through the field if they are with you, does that mean that one could let the snake into the tunnel if they reached up and touched it? Arnor decided it was a experiment best left undone for now and continued to the rest of the group who were carefully following the trail. |

(I was assuming that the bird flew into the entrance of the tunnel, but that does make sense.) Further down, it is obvious that something is moving alongside them in the sand, when they come to a large tower... |

It hits sand. There is nothing out there. A hissing is heard, and a dark-furred felie jumps through the group. "Whot be yo?" |

As a rare occurance Elor elects to speak for the group "We are travelers wandering through an abandoned settlement, finding sapience abundant as sand. We are an envoy with a message sent from one to another to stop death and calm this place. We are freinds sent with a parchment to-" "Basicly we got a peacy treaty now where's your boss?" says Flaye, not the one for longer introductions, getting an icy stare from Elor. |
