Well, to sum it up.
Evil is just the distortion of a person's mental stability to the point where they're just batshit crazy and do things that'd be classified as "evil".
By that definition, is a sane person incapable of evil then?
Depends what you mean by "sane".
Sure, a person might look like they're normal and stable from the outside, but their minds might be entirely deteriorated on the inside.
Anyways, this is just my opinion, be free to show me yours.
So, Kira was killing for justice, was he not evil?
He did believing what he thought was right, while it might of have immoral, I don't really call it evil.

I don't believe a person can be categorized as evil. People do good as they understand it.
I believe that an action may be considered profoundly immoral by others however.

Some people may do things knowing that what they are doing is unrighteous and "evil". I'm not sure what to think of that. So yeah, enlighten me.
Okay, after seeing what Boss had said,

I would say, if the act is immoral and the person is doing said act with evil intentions, it can be called evil.
If they are doing said act with the belief that what they are doing is righteous, the act is only immoral, not evil.

What qualifies an intention as evil? Does anybody truly intend on doing evil?
What qualifies immoral? Is morality not subjective? Or do you believe that objective morality exists?

Morality is indeed subjective. Everybody has a different understanding on what is right and what is wrong.
It all depends on who is judging.

Can someone truly intend on doing evil?
Good question and I'm not really sure. You can intend on harming another but usually when that happens, you do not think about the consequences and what could happen to the victim. I really don't know.

Here's another question that addresses technology:
If it ever becomes possible to easily revive people, will the "evilness" of acts such as murder change?
If so, is evil correlational to value?
If not, what would make it inherently immoral?

okay folks

Evil is just a word that means bad intentions, negative energy, Carlos, etc

Good is just a word that means good intention, positive energy, Gerald, etc

However, what evil is to one person is not evil to another. Say we have a con man that steals money from a church. In the eyes of the people who know what hes doing hes a demon, who in their right mind would steal money from a church?

Maybe the con man has a disability that prevents him from working, maybe hes just trying to feed his wife and kids and this is the only thing hes good at. In his eyes hes just doing what has to be done to survive and feed his family.

Does this make him evil?

The definition of evil varies, and is completely dependent on what perspective of the situation your looking at.

Its like perfect, everyone's idea of perfect is different. No in a way there is no such thing as perfect.

The most delicious
Sure, our morals are different, but would there be some sort of ultimate evil? Something like mutilating dead bodies of children? Surely that cannot be good in any sort.

Also, @Mirage, if it ever does become possible to revive the dead, wouldn't murder eventually cease to exist?
