I used to rule the trolls,
Nazis would rise when I gave the word,
Now in the morning I sleep alone,
On the streets I used to own.

I used to roll the dice,
Feel the fear in the capitalists' eyes,
Listen as the crowd would sing,
"Heil Hitler, heil our new king."
One minute I held the key,
Next the Berlin Wall's been closed on me,
And I discovered that my Nazis stand
Upon pillars of trolls and pillars of fail.

I hear Berlin bells a ringin',
Nazi soldiers, choirs are singin'
Be my mirror, my Nazi shield,
My murderers in a foreign field.
For some reason I can't explain,
Once you go there was never
Never an honest word,
And that was when I ruled the trolls.

They were the wicked and trollish men,
Blew down the French to let me in,
Shattered soldiers and the sound of drums,
People couldn't believe what I'd become.
Now revolutionaries wait
For my trolls in a silver grave
Now they're just puppets on lonely strings,
Oh, why did I ever want to be king?
