Do you believe time is relevant?; This soul who is self contracting told me that "Time isn't relevant." while proving that theory wrong in the process.

So voice your opinion on time.

- What is it?
- What does it do?
- How did it start?
- How does it work?

Of course, no answers are wrong here, as long as you don't make no sense as you explain your theory.

And as for me:

I believe that time is the answer to many questions, and no matter what, time will always be relevant because it is always occurring. No matter what. After you wake up and before you sleep; time is happening, nigga. Breathe it. If time didn't matter, neither would life itself. If you think life doesn't matter, then you're not worthy of talkin on this forum, so phuk off.

time is only an idea that does not exist. it is used as a tool to help us determine what to do, where, why and how much time we have to do it. time can be good or bad, there is a quote that says "peace is when time does not matter as it passes by" i am a firm believer of that quote time is the same thing as language. we use language to communicate. just as we use time to keep track of what, who, when, why, and how

Rapid, you may be the most philosophic user that's on here.

Or just the most vocal about it.

Of course time matters. Otherwise, I wouldn't know when this essay I've been putting off that's due tomorrow would be due.

Which is why I should get to it right around now.

*edit: my sincerest apologies, but I just realized I misused my words. Where I said "relevant" I actually meant "relative." Sorry about that guys.

Technically, Time is indeed relevent. How much time passes is relevant to you. For example, This summer seemed to fly by me and seemed as though it was only a month. My sister on the other hand was in Austrailia for a semester abroad, and thus the summer seemed to last 3 years there (it was their winter at the time, so school was still in session). So from my point of view, time was going faster while it was going slower from my sisters point of view. This is essentially the definition of relevance, therefore time is indeed relevant.

Also, from a more scientific viewpoint some oddities do occur in the time space continueum. (no idea how to spell that) This occurs naturally in black holes, where the force of gravity is so strong it distorts time and makes time move slower for whatever object is inside the black hole. If this force could be munipulated without killing a person or completely destroying an object, then it would be possible to place things in a state of suspended animation for thousands of years, and the object/person would only age a very small amount.

Perhaps time was never made to be understood, just to accept. It works only how you perceive it to work.

Without time the world would forget many things and would be in chaos. But it would be something less to worry about.
