These Drakens abhor the civilized cities that other Draken live within, and live out in the icy wastes, often acting as hunters to help support those cities. With highly-acute senses, even for other Draken, the Bestia are the smallest but swiftest of Draken, and they have the largest talons. They are marked by a series of three diagonal lines going from right to left, and their coloration is usually white or a blend of white and gray. Bestia consider humans as both prey-animals and fellow predators, but do not actively hunt them since they are allied with sects that do not feel the same way about humanity. If they come upon an injured human, however, they may attack. |

The smallest Draken, but with the largest hunting talons and greatest speed. Bestia Drakens range from the size of 5-6 feet in length and 5-6 feet in height on average. Not terribly bulky creatures, the Bestia hunt in packs and rely mostly on speed and cunning to hunt prey, rather than brute force. Their necks are short, as are their tails. This allows a Bestia Draken to stay well-hidden while stalking prey out on the tundra. Their small size makes it easy to blend in with the landscape. They do have long legs, however, which make them ideal runners. One of the few Drakens that have no wings, Bestia are incredible climbers and their hunting talons also serve them well for digging through ice and snow to create temporary lairs incase there is a nasty storm while they are cut off from any other form of shelter. In their Transformed state, Bestia are shorter than the average human, averaging 5 feet in height, except in rare cases when they are a bit taller or a bit shorter than that mark. Females tend to be smaller but more aggressive. |
