| Welcome to The Three Powers! We are an online community and roleplaying/fanfiction site loosely based around the late Robert Jordan's fantasy series The Wheel of Time. We hope that you decide to stick around and we'll see you on the boards! Want to join? Please read the Constitution An exerpt from the Site History ... Long years out of the memory of even living Aes Sedai and Asha'man, the Last Battle occurred. The Dragon Reborn- some say his name was al'Thor -won, sealing the Dark One back in his prison, saving the world. The world was still in chaos though, the Tower was still split, and Asha'man were still unreasonably feared. Gray sisters from both factions of Aes Sedai tried to reach an agreement, but it proved impossible. Finally, they gave up, and the Salidar sisters went back to Altara and set up a permanent home. They continued to live in the buildings there, but also built new, better ones. There is still no tower in Salidar, just a group of buildings within a much larger, thriving city. The three factions of channelers squabbled constantly, never able to find any peace, the only good thing was that they were far separated by land. Nearly one hundred years after the Last Battle, the channelers decided it was useless. They minimized their contact with one another, and focused on themselves and the rest of the world. With the Aes Sedai and Asha'man settling, the rest of the world was finally able to as well, returning to their old homes, and for the most part their old boundaries... |

Here someone claims a hill. Then you take the hill from them. You can even RP a little bit with this one, so have fun and get creative! Jai rode through the country side on his horse enjoying the bright spring sunshine. Wild flowers bloomed all around him in blues and yellows and oranges and reds and even violet. The mighty oaks, hundreds of years old, towered over him casting shade all around. This was no mans country here. Before Jai, stood a tall hill with a large flat at the top. This would be a beautiful place to settle down, Jai thought to himself. With that thought firmly in mind, Jai rode to the top of the hill with his banner in his hand, three orbs of light against a dark background. Jai moved to the center of the hill and planted his banner firmly in the ground. "This hill belongs to Jai Ashendrei of Beleryn!" (Note: I know that I used my character here. This has nothing to do with my actual character on site. So, if you kill him, he will come back!) |

Sitter of the Blue Ajah
|
Amore rode her white gelding through the countryside, dressed in one of her finely white cut dresses, with it's blue accents. She felt pretty, and the weather seemed to reflect her mood, it was nice and pleasurable. Upon the back of her horse her flag is mounted, flying in the breeze created by their speedy trot. The Blue and white triangles formed the rectangular flag backdrop, and on it was her family emblem, a large cat of white before a crown of black roses. She spotted the hill she would call home just as another claimed it. She embraced the Power, and sliced the man's head off. Now she was Queen of the Hill. ((OOC: play like this? )) |
