I'm not properly around, but this proposal is picking up approvals - anyone have the time to kill it off? |

It should commit suicide on its own. If it actually reaches quorum (unlikely?) I hope for it to be nuked. |

I'm pretty sure it's legal, the evil Havenites are trying to kill my baby but I'll just have to fight harder. It's not actually meant to pass, that would be a nice side-effect but the point that I'm raising is valid anyway, I'd prefer it to get to vote to get as much scrutiny as possible and draw out the debate. |

Well it sure sparked a lively discussion. I can't wait for the At Vote thread! Isn't it nice how the SC has brought together all of these divergent communities that otherwise never would have interacted with each other?

I'm not trolling, Sedge. I wanted to highlight the way that Liberations are a complete abuse of power by taking this to extremes. I want people to think "why is it okay for defenders to do this but not raiders?" and be more cautious with the use of Liberations. If RPers get involved with the WA and they are willing to oppose Liberations then that is an added bonus. I have no real intention of invading them, even if the region was opened up then I imagine it would be Uknown, TNI, the LKE and co. If the discussion is aborted because the proposal doesn't get to vote, I can always do another one of these proposals. |

You're just trying to kill off liberation resolutions by targetting people with them, to turn them against the resolutions. Its not about it being ok for defenders/invaders to use them, its about how they are used - whether they benefit the natives or not, and whether the natives want to use them. You won't achieve anything, the admins like liberations, and they're never going to get rid of them. If you continue with them, you'll just piss off another load of people who want nothing to do with this kind of stuff, resulting in another flame-fest. |

Yep, I want to create anti-Liberation sentiment, as I believe that they are dangerous and abusive, you don't share my view but many others do. I know Pyth and Violet love them, but I think that there is a genuine case that they're killing raiding, even if you do view refounding as utterly unacceptable. They won't get rid of them, but I have other ideas. |
