I don't like this resolution at all. Its quite clearly a mean-spirited attack on Unibot by AMON - just a way of getting back at him. Because of that, I'm going to lobby delegates tomorrow to try and get its approval levels down. If someone were to try and propose this after the GA-SC split, and based their repeal on that having happened, I'd have no problems with them doing it - it could even be a way of RPing/introducing this new division, so it could get my support. Until then, I want the resolution to stay. Also, if Krioval submits "Condemn Unibot", I'll try and kill that too. We need people condemning each other for their use of the SC about as much as we need people commending each other for passing a few SC resolutions. |

I'm still waiting with this one, at the moment I'm just seeing an attack on the resolution, which I supported and that won't change, but if AMOM can show that it's a positive change for the Security Council then I would reconsider. |

Whatever happened to "let the delegates decide"? That said, I'm not pushing it too strongly, yet. I'm convinced that Unibot is dragging the SC down by passing pointless liberations. So now I shouldn't be able to make an attempt to push Unibot to learn a bit of discretion? |

Why do we bother debating if its just 'let delegates decide'? We're here to lobby them - not to try and force them to vote a certain way, but to persuade them. Unibot has been one of the major players in the Security Council, and has written several good resolutions. Liberate The Security Council was good for establishing an IC introduction to the GA-SC split, and demonstrating player support for that split. Liberate Utopia was a good liberation resolution, even if the region was fairly small - but its worked. I wasn't enthusiastic about Liberate Land of the Liberals, but I have to admit that so far - from looking at the region, its turned out extremely well. The complaints in your resolution are pretty trivial too - I haven't seen any proof of Unibot stifling public debate of liberations, or of this 'secrecy' - that sounds like AMON's conspiracy theories. The terms "native" and "liberation" retain all their old strength, and now have definitions which people can easily check up on. The 'Star Chamber' accusation is similarly lacking in evidence, and its certainly not the generally polite Unibot who is disrupting civil communications in the Security Council. The 'manipulation' accusation is really just an repeating earlier claims, adding an attack for actually daring to use the Security Council. Again, 'destructive agenda' is lacking in any kind of evidence to support that claim. All in all, your resolution is full of the 'unverifiable claims' which you seek to condemn Unibot for. |

I supported the original too, but the repeal demonstrates the foolhardiness of submitting admin decisions to WA plebiscite. Let us hope that [violet], upon reviewing the final vote tally for the repeal, does not conclude that the split is something players do not want after all and goes back on her previous promise. |
