EuroFounder is not Alsted. EuroFounder is shared between an unknown Euro-forumite and former mod Myrth, who arranged to have the founding nation set up in 2003 when Europe's isolationism nearly got them griefed into oblivion by wandering raiders with shiny endoswap telegrams. The owners of EuroFounder have apparently opted to nod and look the other way at Alsted's policy of recruiting and abandoning newbies en masse to use their endorsements between arrival and timeout, but if you think you have a convincing argument you're welcome to make it. 1) I'll look into that now, I have the admin account for one so I can definitely change it but am only a staff member for the other one so will have to see. 2) I've changed it a bit, there's nothing explicitly unfriendly but it is admittedly, not exactly homely. A featured nation of the day/week is tempting if I have space, there are a lot of tags in there. 3) I'll try to keep it off the RMB, it's not always easy but I'll keep a not of who's posting just before it goes up and telegram them all. 4) I expect that I'll be the only one from my region who telegrams people, I certainly hope so, I've obviously never done anything like that for a WA proposal but I'll keep an eye on it. I would request that people tell me if they're going to start telegramming but that would only encourage people and I can name numerous liabilities in the region. 5) I won't, again I'll try to keep it off. Do you think that they could be persuaded to take action against Alsted?

Oh, by the way, Oh My Days, support (or atleast not a vote stomp) for "Liberate Land of the Liberals II" could help solidify your region's impression for voters. If they attribute you to 'those dahm raiders who helped New Earth take over Land of the Liberals' it'll be no good. I mean, LotL is a political nightmare, you should be trying to distance yourself as far away from that mess as possible. Just an unbiased opinion. (from someone who is definitely not the author of the resolution). |

It might work that way, but we'd be leaving our allies completely at sea, which isn't good PR either, neither does it show any decency whatsoever. I also think that there is a genuine case that Rolamec is helping the region, bringing about activity and stopping someone like Environmental Rebels refounding and locking it down. Look at the way that Rolamec has safeguarded the Vatican, both pro-Christian and anti-Christian nutters want to take that region, he has allowed free acces to the region and has supported it. He has the support of 4 out of the 5 natives, and the nation cited in the resolution was never a native anyway. Even if he was intending to destroy it, there was no community to start off with there, it was a dead region. So he wouldn't be destroying a community, and if there had been one it would have no trouble moving to a new region because it has so few members. Commending EuroFounder, nice idea, I like it. |

It shows no decency to New Earth -- who aren't even fully committed raiders. And I can't trust that the other native who has been active and supports Spooks I is making an entirely accurate statement, Its like believing a statement from someone being tortured. Spooks I has been threatening the remaining natives to support him or be banished, so they may feel to keep close to their region that they need to keep quiet. And he is a native, thats too high of an influence rating for a non-WA nation in a region full of WA nations, for him to not be. |

Rolamec is a difficult nut to crack. But I do believe we seriously wants to help the region. He says his region was stuck in isolation because many of his people were extremely arrogant, I believe those "people" are likely the ones who broke away because of the term limits established in early december. He has told me his region was "pulled back onto the international stage". how I do not know, I have pried enough into the inner workings of his region. He says he was once a defender, and before that largely an RPer. Hope this helps somebody. |
