64 votes is a record. Maybe not for the UN (at least not percentage-wise), but definitely for the WA. In hard numbers it's the closest margin in the history of either body. (Mind you, I always place asterisks after these records, because they're SC, but whatever.) |

Yeah, I checked the moment that the resolution passed. Its a NS record for closest vote numerically (64 -- the magic number), but its approve percentage of 50.5% is beaten by some other UN resolution with 50.3% approval. |
