I might talk to him about that. He'll change his vote, but probably as late as possible, so that he keeps stacking the vote against.

Has it occurred to anyone here that this is failing -- not entirely because of some dastardly "vote-stacking" plot against the poor, oppressed defenders -- but because of the abuse of process clearly at play here? Liberations were introduced to thwart griefing, not run-of-the-mill raiding, and at present, there's precious little evidence that Free Thought is a victim of anything more than the latter.

The LKE kicked out The Tofu Islands, and their style of raiding is to grief regions. If they just wanted to hold the region for a bit, they wouldn't have kicked out The Tofu Islands, and installed a password. The reason its so close is that for the first time, the invaders have campaigned vigorously against the resolution, telegramming delegates.

The East Pacific poll is strongly in favor of this but Todd is still voting against. Is he likely to change his vote or will he go against the preference of his region?
He did eventually change his vote, though it seems like he waited as long as he could to do so -- to be fair, it was his birthday yesterday so I can see why he might be busy elsewhere. :P

Yeah, I saw that too, and felt guilty about pestering him...

Interestingly, the poll in Lazarus is now tied, but the delegate there (also the queen of The New Inquisition) has conincidentally left the country, so won't be able to change her vote.

Yeah, because a whole load of invaders, yourself included, just signed up on the forums to stack the vote. Coincidence? I think not.

Is there any negative development in this vote that can't be explained away by some raider-conspiracy theory?
