Um... does anyone else notice that more than half the material in this proposal is commending Fudgetopia for stepping down from her Delegacy? I have nothing against commending her, but what the fuck...? Material! MATERIAL!!! Give us some evidence! Some examples of this "great servitude to her region and the world!" What's all this shit? It's a pile of flabby, meaningless "some delegates are really nice and some suck a lot" BS; If that was a basis for a commendation, then hell! Let's commend every delegate who "does a nice job!" Submit 'em all! Commendations for every delegate in the world who's been "good and attentive!" Say something about feeder region politics! Say something about her accomplishments in office! Say SOMETHING! This proposal isn't saying anything at all! Sorry, but this is just totally absurd. I'm sure some of you will feel the urge to disagree with me because you like Fudgetopia, but please - just look at this thing... if we pass this, the GA purists will have more shit to throw at the SC than they will know what to do with. This needs serious revision. I can't believe this is getting the support it currently has. Just because she's a popular delegate does not mean we commend her for the first poorly designed piece of crap that appears in the queue. Maybe I'm overreacting, but this piece of writing is a terrible example of what the SC should support. Refined, well thought-out, and detailed proposals - not something some random twelve year old cooked up during five minutes of his computer class. |

lol You still can't seriously say that this is a well-developed and un-repeal-able proposal. |

I'm all in favor of C&C resolutions that describe the subject matter in broad strokes and go into more detail in the accompanying thread. It's necessary when the subject matter is known for doing multiple things, which most NS nations and regions with a long history are. In contrast, this proposal zeroes in on one specific action (resigning) whose commendability is...debatable. It'd be better to talk about her actions in office. I'm not asking for a laundry list of examples here - if complete, it'd be too long, and if incomplete it'd be wrongly judged on the examples alone - but the focus of the proposal is more than a little askew. |

This also is similar in quality to this marvelous feat of ingenuity.
Gee, how many people could we condemn on these terms? |

Now that I look at it, dismayed is a harsh word, especially for the new delegate, Southern Bellz. |

Undoubtedly someone will base a repeal on that. |
