Just as the title says, does anyone know of potential targets needed for Liberation. I feel like we should set up an alliance or something with the intelligence division of a defending corps, to get insider knowledge, our technical expertise of Security Council proposal writing could make us useful allies. I'd be willing to write and campaign for liberations. |

http://www.nationstates.net/region=alliance_of_free_nations http://www.nationstates.net/region=democratia http://www.nationstates.net/region=Union%20of%20Democratic%20Republics (a bit late with that one) I have access to the places where defenders discuss SC resolutions - and we do look at regions to possibly target for liberation resolutions. The 3 I mentioned are quite small, so it might be hard to get enough sympathy to liberate them. However, I think we could probably look at trying at least one - so that liberations aren't just used for large 'famous' regions. |

Those look like good targets to start with, Sedge, Can you give us a brief overview of whats happened to them? Union of Democratic Republics is particularly baffling. Though I'd prefer not doing a liberation against United Dictatorships (I mean I'd prefer not writing one, personally), because I've spawned a friendly relationship with the delegate who has been good to endorse any proposal I've asked of him to approve -- which is a good asset to have. I wouldn't mind helping to draft it, I just don't want my name attached to it, for obvious reasons. |

Greater Salfordian Union (aka Salford - you'll know Martyrdoom from there) invaded Union of Democratic Republics. They don't usually change the WFE when they invade - or if they do, they pretend (as in this case) that they're kicking out invaders. They password the region, then kick out the natives, under the pretence of it being a native-led re-found. The other two were simple invasions by The Axis of Evil/United Dictatorships of democracy-themed regions, which they pw-protect & then eject the natives, probably with the aim of re-founding. |

I'll talk to Anime Daisuki who is the expert on Salford to see if I can get information from him/if he wants to help out. |

Okay. I'm thinking if anyone's interested, these could be some constructive regional projects for us to test the waters with. |

Yes it might be easy to start with a liberation rather than a c&c because they would be a lot easier to justify. |

Well, and also.. C&Cs are just wildly unpopular. I wouldn't want are region associated with a sludge of C&Cs. Ex. COMMEND ______ RECOGNIZING __________ for _______________, and being a good person. NOTING _______ many successes in defending, and _______________, which is also sort of significant -- sort of. UNDERSTANDING ______ participates frequent with ___________. KNOWING that for the Security Council to produce twenty more commendations in the next month to make its deadline, we're going to need the General Assembly's full cooperation, a Christmas miracle and this easy-to-use assemble-it-yourself WA quickie commendation™ to exploit. HEREBY commends the player behind _________ . |
