What are your five favourite films?

Or do you have such a love for films, that its too hard to pick a top 5?

I would say that my favourite films at the moment are Se7en, Usual Suspects, Mulholland Drive, Star Wars (both trilogies) and Cloverfield (not technically the best film ever I know, but it took me on a rollercoaster ride seeing it at the cinema with surround sound  ).

Star Wars 3,4 and 6
Matrix (only the 1)
Metal Gear Solid 3: Existence (for me that is a movie :p)

and that's it I guess. There are a lot of movies I like but this are really the only ones I love and still watch from time to time. The Dark Knight may also become one of those movies.

Oh of course. I forgot to put The Dark Knight down.

I love that film :)

Truly awesome.

I love all the Star Wars movies, except Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (the whole game just looks like a Playstation 1 game).

My fave Star Wars movie is Return Of The Jedi (Episode 6). ^_^

1. The Shawshank Redemption
2. The Dark Knight
3. Pulp Fiction
4. Leon (The Professional)
5. The Matrix

The hardest top 5 I have ever been asked to do as Movies are my T.V. These would have to be an up to date /of all time list, I watched Hancock the other day and laughed prretty much nonstop, Pineapple express early gave me a coronary, that film just tickled me. The 1 film that I feel PWNT my brainthoug was Silent Hill, whilst not a particularly scary film, it touched me on a certain level that just made me feel that the most private part of my psyche had been violated.

You actually liked episode 2?
A freakin Sci-Fi romance story?
Don't get me wrong I actually like some (a few) romantic movies, always great to sit with the girl next door, watch them and than play them *cough*...yeah...anyway but to make out of Star Wars, I repeat *STAR'FREAKINFUCKIN'FORCE* , a romantic movie?

The last 20 minutes and the dialogues on Kamino saved the movie from being absolut crap. The big time war scenes are awesome and Yodas appearance is priceless even through it's very funny and it definately shouldn't be.

Actually I nearly put Phantom Menace in front of Episode 3. For me the last around 30 minutes (where all this 3 "Main Events" happen) are beyond good, great and fabulous. When the door opens and u see Darth Maul standing in front of all the shocked people with one of the best fighting musics ever produced (thank you Mr.Williams) than you really get goosebumps.

The only "goosebumps" Star Wars moment I ever had was also in episode 3 when the Darth Vader helmet was put on him and than it happened...*cough...cough*...this was enough for me. One of the greatest movie moments of my life.

No, I'm no huge fan of episode 2. But I liked allot of it.

I thought Ewan McGregor played a great learning Jedi Master Obi Wan, and I thought that Christopher Lee was very good as Count Dooku (Christopher Lee is a brilliant actor).

Also, you see Yoda fight for the first time! That bit is AWESOME.
Yoda fighting should be funny really, because he was always supposed
to be this funny little character, and his fight in Episode 2 was a good testament to this :)

Also, I liked the explanation behind the Stormtroopers' back story, as well as the inclusion of Jango Fett.

As for a romance movie? No, I don't think so. There wasnt that much romance, just a couple of scenes. And remember, if you were never shown Padme and Anakin fall in love, then there would be no reason for Anakin to turn to the dark side later ;)

All the Star Wars films rock, except Episode 1.

Episode 1 has one or two cool bits, but in general Darth Maul is a really crap villain (he has NO personality).

The only bit I really like of Episode 1 is the lightsaber dual at the end.

2. The Dark Night

6. Zen the christmas tree chopper
Do you mean The Dark Knight or have you been watching p0rn again? ;)

I like your top 5 man! Very similar. Only I'd try to sneak in a comedy somewhere. I LOVE "Dude where's my car?" and "Dumb and dumber". They made a complete new genre in comedy. I also like "Forrest Gump".

It's fun to see Star Wars fans here. I like the movies but am not a die hard fan. But if I mention it to anyone of my friends they couldn't care less.

Don't Knock Peter Porn as a film, Nik. But, Shaving Ryan's Privates is one of the best.
