So do we have any sport fans in the clan, or are we all just a bunch of brainwashed gamers? :P

Personally, I'm pretty partial to watching the football at the pub on a Sunday with a nice pint ^_^

Other than that, not many sports interest me all that much.

Would anybody like to share their sport interests, to get this sub-forum moving along?

I'm quite done with socces to be honest. Just can't stand all the whining and asking for yellow cards etc. Too much theater for me.

I'm personally a fan of the NBA (basketball for the not-knowing). And further I like different kinds of autosports. F1 not so much anymore but WTCC and WRC are cool.

Definately soccer the most and 2nd F1.
I play soccer myself in a team and I also watch the Bundesliga every week.

Who do you support Patrick?

As I'm English, I support Manchester City (I HATE Manchester United lol).

Any Man United fans in the clan won't be banished though, but I may well wish that I could e-spit on them in every game. :D

* Hides and waits for the flaming to commence* I am a football follower (ITS FOOTBALL, NOT FUCKING SOCCER), and my team is the one, the only, Mighty, mighty, MIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLWAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL. I know, I know, whilst not a title threatening team we DO play good football week in, week out. It looks like a return to the Championship (English 2nd Division) next season, I am just gutted that it would appear that Charlton are destined for the drop, meaning that we won't meet next season.

Actually I also do love watching the Premier League since it's by far the best league in the world period.

And sorry Nik but since 1998 Man United is my 3rd all time fav team :D
Just behind Juventus Turin and far far behind Bayer 04 Leverkusen (even through I'm from M'gladbach) .
But I hope that City will soon once again become an European threat. It's one of THE european clubs for me and finally (thanks to to the millions and millions they get from the new owner) they seem to become once again a top european football club.
I'm also a St.Etienne supporter from France. Those clubs are simply football tradition and I hope to see them back on top soon.

Personally I can't stand Bayern Munich (worst football club EVER) , 1.FC Köln (biggest enemy of Leverkusen) , AC Mailand (because of Juve ) , Lazio Rom (because they have a general Nazi attitude :-/ ) Real Madrid (the first "business" club that existed) , Chelsea (the current biggest business club that exists) and Legia Warschawa (because my father hates it =D )

too bad it's not that easy here to watch the Premier league. Only on Eurosport they show "Eurogoals" which is my weekly European football update/source ;-)

Well Patrick, you can always stream games online.

There are plenty of places, you just have to find the right ones at the right time (which can be very annoying sometimes, so its not all that easy).

Nice to see that you don't mind City, therefore I shall let you off for liking Man United :P

@Mickey: You could not be more right. FOOTBALL IS THE NAME OF THE GAME. Those f*cking Americans eh? The sport that they call 'Football' is just futuristic rugby!!! (I got that quote from my hero, Sir Alan Partridge haha).

Would be good if Millwall gained promotion and got up to the Championship.
I used to watch quite a bit of the Championship (which I think is as good as the Premiership, as its so different yet so similar, and every club has something to fight for' PROMOTION).

But the league could do with more teams like Millwall in it.

Every season it seems to be more and more full of Premiership failures, rather than up and comers from lower leagues.

I play soccer and basketball whenever I can, watching more of the former. Favourite English team would be Chelsea. I also do kickboxing and parkour.

What is parkour? Wow kickboxing!
I played Judo when I was a kid but after 7 years decided that a teamsport was more my thing. Played 8 years of football and lots of basketball on the streets. Now I don't do anything anymore. A shame realy. That's what you get and you grow up and get to be a financial auditor.

Parkour is essentially street climbing. The basics is jogging, and then using different techniques to avoid obstacles or getting around them. This is a good example of it:

I probably will have less time for sports in the future as well, rotting away in an architectural office lol.
