Who else has seen this? I saw it today, left me pretty annoyed. Alice herself was dull and annoying, and Johnny Depp was weird and annoying. Perhaps they made Alice's character so boring on purpose to make Depp even weirder. Thank you for another pointless adaptation of a classic children's book Mr Burton. Depp even tries a Scottish accent for about 5 minutes. He's more like Mel Gibson |

I wanna see it for the 3D. The Burton style has become so monotonous and drawn out. Jesus christ man make something new! |

Couldn't agree more, 10 years ago his semi-gothic avant garde film style was genious but now it's just old. |

Don't bother. The 3D effects aren't bad, they just aren't Avatar good |

I dunno about the movie. What I think that's so scary about the Disney Alice in Wonderland is that everyone is crazy in there and she's very lonely. I dunno, it really feels like a nightmare. This story is about Alice returning to Wonderland so I think doesn't understand why Alice in Wonderland is such a scary movie. I really like Tim Burton films, but I just don't think he did a good job at this. I believe there is a war going on. I mean wtf, that's seriously not what made the movie so scary, it's the lonelyness, not a freaking war! I hoped that Tim would make the movie like McGee made the Alice game.![]() I'm gonna watch it on monday so I'll see what I think of it. |

Yeah, a lot of Disney film story's are actually quite disturbing and have a lot of sinister undertones, I think someone was saying that Pocahontas(I think) is about the Nazi's and the Jews... pretty strange for a kids film! |

Indeed, and the Hunchback is also very disturbing. People think he's a monster because he looks ugly, so he can never come out the Notre Dame. But as a small kid you don't realize those things, atleast I didn't. But I already found Alice a scary movie when I was 4 years old or something. |
